This has to be the best Greek Restaurant on LI. The server was very attentive and the food was fabulous. We ordered all apps..So delicious, especially the grilled octapus, the zucchini & eggplant tower, sampler of spreads and the tomato salad. Wanted to get the Avgolemono soup but we were too full. Will definitely return
So we had a reservation for 7:30 PM about a month ago on a Saturday. We went there. We were told to wait for a table. We mentioned that we can take inside but outside is fine too. Half hour later were told that there is a table that’s being cleaned up. But five minutes later, the manager person came in overruled dad and said that they had to do something else and we wait another 45 minutes to be seated.
I went to Kyma with my partner for a special dinner to end the summer. The atmosphere and ambiance were pleasant, somewhat of a high end Mediterranean beach vibe. Our server was professional and friendly throughout the meal. The cocktails were very good and the food overall was excellent. We both ordered a special of sea bass and lobster risotto. For appetizers we had a beet dish and the watermelon salad, which was the only dish I didn't love. It was a huge portion and somewhat bland. Everything else was outstanding.

The food and service are always excellent. Our server was both efficient and fun. This is a great place to take friends or family for "that special dinner." Kyma is not inexpensive, but you certainly get what you pay for.
Wonderful place, the staff is the wow factor, I went there for the very 1st time and mentioned I am celebrating my anniversary and they really looked after us. They made us feel very special not one but every staff member. Now the food and cocktails. Awesome Lamb chops and shrimp really good and the cocktails was delicious. Must go place and don’t forget the staff is 5star.

This is an amazing restaurant that is a must if you're in the area. It's honestly a hidden gem, tucked away in the cacophony that is Manhattan. The best way to enjoy Greek food (my personal opinion) is to order a lot of the appetizers and share them with your dinner guests. Kyma is a slice of heaven that brings the essence of Greece into the food and atmosphere. Be sure to get the mastiha gelato at the end!! It is simply refreshing and a great way to end the meal!

I was lucky enough to win a gift card for this beautiful restaurant. We went with the understanding that our experience would be more than the amount of the gift card. How though are we the only ones that had an issue with our cards for payment of the balance. Our cards are fully stacked so it did not feel good that we were the only ones that seemed to have an issue with our cards.
The dining experience was exceptional as usual, with delicious food and attentive staff who provided excellent service throughout the meal.

The food was ok. My husband and I shared the sesame feta. It was very good but we were not blown away. We also ordered the muscles appetizer and the muscles were tiny. lots of empty shells. For the main cpurse, i had the sea bass and it was flavorless. my friends and I had a great time talking and the drinks were delicious buy lt was over priced
for what it was.

Unfortunately, Kyma has gone very downhill. Though still busy, food and service has dramitically declined. Our waiter was both rude and abrupt, not typical for the restaurants in the neighborhood. However, food was the most disappointing unless you like a stomach bath in OIL. Had the meatballs (Keftides) and all you tasted was oil. Filet appetizer was best dish, however, the brussel sprouts were again drenched in oil. We had 3 mains. They were Pink snapper and again, was sitting in a pool of oil. Same for Branzino, a nice fish, but again swimming in oil. When the waiter came over, I mentioned that there was alot of oil, he actually looked at the plate and walked away, while never saying a word (and never came back to say anything). The Mousakka was OK tasting but was barely warm, would have been nice for it to be served hot. Overall, there are so many better restaurants in the area, that we won't be returning again. I really would suggest eating at any of the other excellent restaurants in the neighborhood.
Went for our anniversary. The restaurant is gorgeous, the food was incredible and the service was perfect. We shared the saganaki and the Greek meatballs. My husband had the lamb chops and I had the shrimp. Everything was wonderful and we can't wait to go back.
Incredible experience. the octopus was SPECTACULAR. Lamb, Tshipoura and flounder was INCREDIBLE. I don't believe there was anything the chef cannot not make taste phenomenally
The ambiance, service, food was all delicious. Wait staff was present without being overbearing. Octopus, snapper and lamb chops were all out of this world. Key lime pie was among the best I've ever had. All in all it was a great meal and a great time.
