Yolo Yogurt and Desserts is hands down one of the BEST dessert spots out there. Every single product is incredible … rich, creamy yogurt, perfectly balanced flavors, and the freshest toppings you could ask for. You can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. On top of that, the atmosphere and service make the experience even better. If you haven’t been to Yolo yet, you’re seriously missing out. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked!

This place is an absolute gem! The frozen yogurt is creamy and flavorful with tons of topping options, the crêpes are perfectly made and delicious, and the gelato is rich, smooth, and authentic. Everything tastes fresh and high quality. The atmosphere is clean, fun, and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Whether you’re stopping in for dessert, a sweet treat with friends, or a family outing, this spot never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Stopped by YOLO last week and saw that they were closed, but when I looked through the window I noticed something very concerning. A rodent was eating out of an open bowl of Nutella left on the counter, and another rodent was running across the floor. This is clearly an unsanitary and unsafe environment. I would not feel comfortable eating here based on what I saw. Photos are attached below.

Great Froyo. Very welcoming and caring owner and staff.

If you like a side of vermin with your dessert, YOLO’s got you covered. I watched one rodent dart across the floor and another sniff around the toppings. Management’s response? Accuse me of “seeing things” instead of fixing the problem.

Not a fan anymore. Found the store too be a bit dirty. Employees did not engage. The seemed bored. Could not be bothered to offer any input
Yes I know they are probably high school kids. Summer job. I totally get that. Local store who depends on repeat customer's so maybe have someone with a vested interest there at all times. We have plenty of other choices. Ill take my money and go somewhere else

Update ….. owner only proves the point…. Just check the reply and figure for yourself if you want to spend your money here, with these type of people. Many other places to get much better service and much better desserts.

Yuk. Never will return. Dirty, rude staff, prices are crazy, no flavor, toppings looked old and stale. The topper to never return was having Fox News on blasting straight right wing propaganda. … STAY OUT OF THIS PLACE!!

I go to Yolo almost every day. I drive from Glen Cove just to get that awesome nonfat frozen yogurt. The best out there. I was just in California and tried 3 yogurt places and Yolo is by far the best.

Very disappointed with their crepes schedule. It says they stop making it 30 minutes before closing, I showed up 40 minutes before closing and they still didn't want to do it. The girl behind the counter was very rude making me wait while she pretended to go in the back to ask someone if she was allowed to make crepes she took 11 customers while I waited. To the owner please check the clock on your camera, own up to your mistake and apologize, I too have seen your responses regarding the people sitting on the public bench, it seems like you are the one that's hard to please.

Pretty good! Just like the rest of em. Does its job.

The owners or workers, whoever it is that works there, was so rude and for what? Ruined the experience. But I’m sure it doesn’t matter what I write here because the owner is just going to reply with a condescending response and not take accountability because “they’ve been in business for 12 years and can do nothing wrong” (as you can see in his reviews to all the 1 star).

I came across your response to a patron’s review regarding their use of a bench located outside your establishment, and I must say I am both deeply disappointed and appalled by your conduct.

Your dismissive and hostile reply, laced with sarcasm and condescension, was not only unprofessional but also unbecoming of any business that seeks to operate within a community built on mutual respect and civility. It is one thing to request that space be reserved for customers; it is another to address the public with disdain, especially when the seating in question is located on a public sidewalk, maintained by the Village of Roslyn and subject to local municipal code § 88-1, which holds property owners responsible for maintenance, not ownership.

Unless you can provide documentation that this bench was privately installed by your business and approved by the Village for exclusive use, it remains the presumption that the bench, like most fixtures on municipal sidewalks, is intended for public use. In fact, asserting ownership over public space may place your business in violation of public right-of-way usage governed by village ordinances and Nassau County protocols.

The entitlement and arrogance conveyed in your comment, especially the remark, “I can assume you are not familiar with hearing the word no,” reflects poorly not only on your business’s customer service values but also on its grasp of how to treat people with decency, particularly those who may simply be seeking a place to sit with their children, pets, or elderly family members.

I encourage you to reflect on whether such tone and behavior serve your long-term success. You never know when a passerby could become your most loyal customer or your most vocal critic. And you certainly never know when you’re addressing someone with the credibility to impact your reputation.
