I have a LOT to say about my stay here at Crystal Brook Mountain Brauhaus Resort. I came here for a solo weekend getaway to explore the Catskills and I would absolutely return here every time. When I checked in with Wendy, I could tell my stay would be very welcoming. She was very friendly and informative as to what the resort offers and she even gave me suggestions for nearby hiking trails. My family has been coming to “The Catskills” for over 60 years with their friends and families. We LOVE the Hasenkopf family and their resort…and of course The Brauhaus! The food is always delicious whether at the main house or across the street. While the accommodations at the hotel are a bit dated, they have a vintage charm and are clean and comfy. For great german food in a quaint german bierhouse atmosphere this is the place. On top of a mountain in the catskills you will find a slice of Germany. Staff wear traditional garb. Food is secoond to none. All tasty german beers on tap. Lots to look at. You will think your in the Alps. I just went to the brauhaus cant say anything bout the resort.
