Recommended - Chef owned, great ingredients equals great food. Well prepared and tasty. Stopped in for breakfast - it was very good. I love watching the planes come and go, but the food is even better.
Amazing food and service. Everyone that was leaving the restaurant when we were waiting for our table had a smile on their face and relayed it was well worth the wait. I totally agree!
Who would have guessed that a great breakfast would be at the local airport cafe? That's exactly what we got at ADK CAVU Cafe. Reminiscent of the cafe in the television show Wings, this eatery serves a wonderful breakfast at modest prices. We spent about $10 less than the previous morning for breakfast and were treated to excellent food and service. The French toast in particular was delicious. ADK Cavu Cafe Airport Restaurant is a chef owned eatery at the local airport. It uses great ingredients, which equals great food that is well prepared and tasty. The restaurant serves a wonderful breakfast at modest prices. Guests can enjoy watching planes and helicopters take off and land while they eat. The French toast is delicious, and the "special waffles" are topped with whipped cream and fresh berries. Other meals mentioned include bacon, eggs Benedict, and homefries. The coffee is delicious. Everything is made from scratch, and the chefs are graduates of Paul Smith's Restaurant and Hotel program. The service is amazing and fantastic, with friendly and attentive servers. Everyone leaving has a smile and says it is well worth the wait. It is a favorite of the locals and often crowded. One guest had the best flight delay ever, and the airport comped their lunch because of the delay. This place is an unexpected treat and comes highly recommended.
