We ordered the dinner for two and we have enough left over for a couple more! Very good chicken, pulled pork and brisket for sure, as well as the coleslaw, parmesan fries, and the garlic herb potatoes! Surprisingly not that busy for a Friday afternoon!

Off the strip and not too busy. They have a parking lot in the rear. Nice size bar with some options. The potato skin with pulled pork was delicious. The short ribs plate was tasty and tender. The corn bread has an orange zest to it, it’s good. The house bbq half chicken was just warm. Not bad of a meal. Dizzy sauce was just ok.

Dizzy? Yeah, the check sure left my wallet feeling that way.Ordered ahead over the phone going with the Potato Skins, their "Famous" soup, and a Dizzy Chicken sandwich. In all the price for 3 menu items, before tip, came to a little over $37. There was an up-charge on any side with the sandwich besides chips, which I was not feeling so I went with the Parm Fries and those skins were nearly a quarter of the price of the bill. So yeah, pretty pricy for a solo customer. But how about the quality? Well no complaints there, what I got was pretty great. The skins were loaded to the edge with a hefty helping of pulled chicken, the soup lived up to its famous title, and the sandwich was way more filling than I was expecting given how light it felt. I still think the price was a tad bit high, but maybe limit yourself to one entree and the soup and you'll find a more reasonable bill waiting for you.The off-street parking is also nice given the location around can become pretty busy, though the entrance is a single lane and the curb has a pretty harsh incline to it which may result in a few low-to-the-ground cars scraping on the street on the way out.The interior also had a light smell of cigarette smoke, which I believe was coming from some cooks who were taking a break outside the kitchen door at the side of the building and the smoke was being pulled indoors. Maybe have any smoke breakers stick to the back patio or at least close the kitchen door when they're doing it. Yuck.

The ambiance was nice, but the food was not good. I ordered the meatloaf with roasted potatoes and greens and cornbread. The potatoes were fresh nand delicious, but the greens were soggy and luke-warm. The meatloaf was not beef and pork like advertised. ? It was not delicious. And they gave me ice-cold cornbread wrapped in foil. I paid nearly $4 extra for it, and was really looking forward to it. I was very disappointed in the Quality of food and service. I walked in and stood in line quite awhile be I was acknowledged. Instead he took care of customers that came in after me, brought them menus and arranged their table. I had been standing there before they walked in and he didn't bother to apologize once he realized his mistake!

Brisket was pretty good. The Dizzy sauce was also good, but I think it would have been better on some wings than beef. Cornbread and sweet potatoe fries complemented the meal nicely. I also ordered a pastrami reuben that could only be better with a little more Russian dressing. Service was above average. Oh yea...portion size was impressive.
