Obsessed with this place. A must when visiting Saratoga Springs. The roasted carrots were perfectly cooked and the sirloin steak was heavenly. Drinks were top notch and service and atmosphere were so romantic. Shout out to our great server Cali who was attentive and lovely!

Had the worst experience at Hamlet and Ghost. Reserved a table but was relegated to the chef's counter which I opted out of. Was told the regular bar was reservation only so after much commotion was seated at the bar, squeezed between bar stools with customers that never materialized. There were 5 to 7 other seats available that were never filled while I was there. Such an enormous effort to allow a single woman to take a seat. Men kept walking in off the street without a reservation for the bar and sitting down and ordering. So much for the bar reservation bullshit. I have been there numerous times in the past. Never Again.

We researched the area and found this gem. There is such a vibe at this place. Sat at the bar. Tim was bartending and was fun to watch and gave great recommendations. We ate the freshest clams, tomato and ricotta dish and finished with scallops perfectly seared w incredible sauce and broccoli rabb. We will return often and try other menu items like the salad and burger.

We sat at the bar. The hostesses were great. The bartender immediately had an attitude. Bar back was personable and actually had a conversation. Female bartender was not nice and didn’t acknowledge us at all. The bar back gave us our bill and I paid for the bill in cash. I gave a 25% tip. ($10 for two drinks) We left with the bartender not saying two words to us. We walked down the street and she + another man ran down the street to say we didn’t pay… how embarrassing!!! After we left a tip and paid for our drinks. Completely uncalled for, rude and will never go there again.

I was excited for Hamlet and Ghost and my only complaint is the speed of service, quality of service, and lack of acknowledgement.
I went at 7pm, got a seat at the bar. Ordered one veggie and a burger. My burger took 45 minutes to be sent out - another patron at the bar ordered after me, received and finished it before I got mine. When my burger was delivered - my empty veggie plate was set aside - and left for another 10 minutes.
Cool spot and I’d come back.
