I was excited for Hamlet and Ghost and my only complaint is the speed of service, quality of service, and lack of acknowledgement.
I went at 7pm, got a seat at the bar. Ordered one veggie and a burger. My burger took 45 minutes to be sent out - another patron at the bar ordered after me, received and finished it before I got mine. When my burger was delivered - my empty veggie plate was set aside - and left for another 10 minutes.
Cool spot and I’d come back.

The last two or three times we’ve been in, we’ve had Liam as our waiter and he is absolutely fantastic. He’s personable, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Based on the costs of the meals and impression I got from reading about their restaurant on the website, I was expecting something more along the line of an upscale, special experience. We booked the dinner to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and I was quite disappointed with the overall experience.
The service overall was very impersonal. Took quite a while for them to bring over water and even take our drink order. The food was just fine - nothing that justified the prices they were charging ($50/meal). We left hungry and unimpressed after ordering an appetizer and two of the most expensive items on the menu - the Halibut and scallop meal. I was excited to try the restaurant but based on the overall experience I would not recommend it to my friends. Especially for the prices they were charging.

Relaxed, festive atmosphere. Attentive service. The mocktail with preserved huckleberry and lemon was really enjoyable but the star of the meal was the salmon dish. I order salmon frequently when I eat out but this was the best I can recall having. The cook on it was perfect - crispy outside and moist inside. Served with pineapple, sweet potato puree and a mole. Delicious.

Fantastic food. Highly recommend the fried mushrooms. Our group ended up ordering a wide range of dishes. Everything was delicious. Steak, mushrooms, lamb tartar, scallops, bread, etc.
Wow! Finally had the chance to stop in for more than just a quick drink and Hamlet and Ghost absolutely lived up to my lofty expectations. The Gin Gin Fizz is delicious, you can tell the care the bartenders put into making each drink, and especially the work that goes into developing the drink menu. 2nd century cocktail was complex and intriguing.
I had the lamb Gnocchi, again absolutely delicious, and a very solid portion for the price.
Hopefully I'll be able to find time every time I'm in Saratoga, because the experience is well worth it.

One of my favorite meals ever. The entire staff was knowledgeable and accommodating with gluten free requests. Get the steelhead trout with sweet potato puree. You won't regret it!
Dietary restrictions: They'll mark up the whole menu with gluten free options (most of the menu). They do have a shared fryer, so there's cross contamination for deep fried items.
