We have been coming to Hatties for decades and it is definitely not as good as it used to be. First of all, the woman who meet you at the front step, was not friendly at all. Second, now they want $12 for a basket of cornbread on your table when you start. They never used to do that. third, I asked for all dark meat when I got chicken and there was a two dollar extra charge for all dark meat. I it was not disclosed on the menu. Hatties has a really delicious menu! I love a restaurant with dishes that I do not make as well at home. However, I will aspire to their level at home. Hats off to the chef's at Hatties! The NOLA vibe is in full force with the music playing, the bartenders pour well-balanced drinks and I love the PBR draft there.
My family's new favorite restaurant! Absolutely loved everything about it. I haven't been there in many moons. The food is still amazing. My teenage son wants to attend Skidmore just to be close by. Hush puppies with honey butter - Delicious! Fried chicken - slap your grandma! Ribs were fantastic. The vibe was great. Cannot wait to go back.
