Exceptional restaurant and staff. My husband and I are regulars. Amazing bar staff that treats us like family! Outstanding food and service!

I will certainly be the odd one out in writing this review after reading the reviews. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. We were seated in the bar room which was tremendously loud. I realize its racing season and the restaurant and bar were packed. But the table we were put it should not exist. Seated at the very end of the room with a shelf next to the table where glasses, napkins and takeout containers were. Surprise, staff coming for all these items . Very annoying to say the least. Give this table to someone without a reservation. Now the food. We each ordered a homemade pasta with marinara. My rigatoni was bland and sauce very watery. I counted 2 pieces of tomato. My husband's marinara was totally different. He said his was ok but nothing great. Our waiter was an elderly gentleman who pretty much ignored us. He was friendly and attentive to people he knew. Never asked us how things were and we waited almost a half an hour for our check as he kept catering to other guests. Our salads were fine and the bread is good but we weren't even done with our salads when the food came out. A totally disappointing experience. I'm Italian and I know good sauce and good food. I suggest going some other place.

Mama Mia is an Italian restaurant with the most delicious Italian dishes. I had penne with garlic, olive oil and vegetables because I am not a fan of meat. Oh la la, Delicous!!! Would recommend! They also offer catering services.

We love Mama Mia. We are from Virginia and always go to Mama Mia with family when we are in the area. We will start with a Margherita pizza as an appetizer. Check out the gorgeous pizza in my photo. The blistered crust and the piping hot, never greasy topping are to die for. We never have leftovers. Next we go for a family-size salad and their house dressing which was so good that one of our party was drinking it straight. Their entrees are all good, but we almost always go for their delicious pasta dishes, prepared with hand-made pasta and a variety of sauces. We usually get several and pass them around the table family style. Our favorites this trip were the pappardelle telefono, and the tortellini ala boscaiola. The service by our waiter, Nick, was spectacular. See you all next trip.

We reserved a table for our family of 5 several quite a while ago for 7 pm and were anxious to enjoy our meal there. We arrived at 6:55 and were told if would be a few minutes. At 7:10 we checked and were told it would be 5 more minutes. At 7:15 we were told the table was being cleared. At 7:22 we were told again the table was being cleared and it would be 5 minutes. At 7:23 a group of 4 came in without a reservation and was seated immediately. When we questioned this, the staff said that it is easier to seat 4 than it is to seat 5. We left. Not once did the staff come to us. We always had to approach them to find out when we would be seated. They never even tried to put two tables of 4 together so that we could sit. Knowing that we had a reservation, they should have been prepared to seat us. Perhaps the food is good, but how would we know? I will never go back there and be treated the way we were. Beware! This restaurant doesn’t feel it needs your business.

Had a surprise birthday party at the restaurant. The event coordinator, Marie was fantastic to work with. Complements to the kitchen, food was delicious. Wait staff was great as well. Can’t say enough about our experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant for thirty years. Service is always good. Food is tasty and the establishment is very popular. Great salads, entrees and pizzas. Prices have continued to increase but just like everywhere else. Our most recent waitress was Amy S. and she was very accommodating. We were not rushed through our meal and as usual enjoyed everything. High school bus boys are always sweet. The one thing that was a disappointment is that they now add a service fee to cover if you pay by credit card. There is a small line on the bottom of the menu that says if paying in cash you get the menu price as incentive. As a past restaurant owner I find it offensive to pass the fees of credit card companies on to the customer. I realize that many places do this now and it has become more common place. The volume of business that Mama Mia's does I do not think they should practice this policy of nickel and diming the customer. Every item that we ordered off the menu was more money because of this fee and it added up. Itis small things like this that either make the customer return or not.

Very disappointed, ate here once before and was looking forward for so long to try again and my food was not the quality I had before, the fettuccine Alfredo was watered down with no flavor.

Yikes!! This was, literally, the coldest restaurant our party has ever been in. Do NOT sit in the front part of the restaurant unless it's during the summer....you will freeze! Numerous patrons, including us, had to wear winter coats throughout the meal, a very unpleasant and expensive experience. As for the food, 2 in our group gave it 4 stars and 2 gave it 3 stars. The "saving grace" was the exceptional server, Kara...outstanding!

Definitely a local place. Takes up 3 merged stores in an old strip mall. The food is not great. Recommend not going on a Friday or Saturday night as it takes a while for the food to come out.

This was the best meal I've had in a long time. Even something as simple as garlic bread was exceptional. The food was delicious and the service was great. Wish we lived closer ♡
