The restaurant was packed. Thursday lunch before the holidays. We were headed to Lake Placid looking for an interesting place to eat. A few notes: parking is a little bit of a challenge, especially when busy. Also, without a reservation seating was limited. Good news is you can sit in the bar and get served. Service was good. The food was also solid. Mom had the vegetarian Reuben with although it was good was not really like Ruben. My pulled pork sandwich was also very good, but...
had a reservation and was seated very nicely. sat at table for 20 minutes before being noticed so i went to hostess.. waitress did come to table and was not friendly…. bad start to a meal i was looking forward to. there were only 2 of us and a couple walked in off the street, got a table and had drinks and their order taken before we were identified. i think this waitress was having “ a bad night” i probably wont ever come back due to poor service
Great food and a great atmosphere! We really enjoyed everything! We were just passing through and were recommended this restaurant on Trip Advisor so we went and were so glad that we did.
