Arrived at 7:30pm when they close at 8pm and they were closed.
The gelato looked great, but came for the espresso. Macchiato hit the spot for my craving. Classic interior with old family photos give it a nice old time vibe.

I had hope when I saw they had stracciatella, the intention is there but real gelato is different. If you have never been in Italy, this is hands down better than ice cream!
Great gelato and a good selection. Easy walking distance from some great shops and restaurants.

Location - great for walkers. It’s on the main drag - so parking is tough. Gelato - have had better gelato elsewhere (e.g., the North End in Boston). The website says they have 24 flavors including vegan gelato. Ambiance - went there on a summer afternoon. There were 2 people (staff - a young man & a young woman) standing behind the counter. No customers except for our small group. Didn’t see the usual sign displaying sizes, prices etc. The staff, young and clearly inexperienced, didn’t volunteer any information though they answered questions. Their main focus was “how would you like to pay”! Counter service only - didn’t see any space to sit and consume the gelato. We said we wanted to take out several cups of gelato. They handed us fully loaded cups, each with a spoon-like thing stuck on top. We set them on the counter while we paid. It was a very warm day. The gelato started to melt onto the counter. The staff saw this but did not provide napkins to clean up the mess. When we asked for napkins, they gave us a few and also directed us to a stash. When we requested a receipt, they said it was “all digital” and they could only email the receipt. In summary, so-so gelato and so-so counter service (clearly, the young staff need more customer service training). The place probably has good potential but it had a “work-in-progress” vibe when we were there.
Mocha cappuccino sorbet was phenomenal. Guy who served us was friendly and generous with the samples

We went on the evening of the Belmont weekend. The gelato was good, but very expensive. For 2 gelatos it was about $20.

So glad we stumbled upon this shop while exploring the town. It was so good we went back for more later in the day. Clean shop, friendly employees, lots of flavors to choose from and so delicious! We’ll be back, for sure!
