On the plus side, they took care of us very late at night. My daughter's chicken parm was excellent. my other daughter's salmon was fantastic. They just happened to screw up my food twice. They had an angel hair pasta on the menu and without even asking just substituted spaghetti. I love Angel hair and hate spaghetti. They brought me some lasagna instead. Obviously they were pissed off about the spaghetti because it was three pieces of broken lasagna and a ton of ricotta. I pointed out the slop that they served me and they took that off the bill. Don't think I'm going back.

The last 2 times we've been in Saratoga, Solevo has been jammin' when we walked by so this year we were so excited when we made a reservation. Unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The octopus appetizer was very tough but the garbanzo bean accompaniment was delicious. My husband's halibut was overcooked and dry but the lobster ravioli and sauce that came with it were delicious. But the biggest disappointment was my lasagna. It was way too salty (and I love salt so that says a lot) and swimming in sauce. Service was also lacking. The drinks were well made and we loved the outdoor seating though. Will not be going back and can't recommend.

Was finally able to get a reservation and the reputation is well deserved! The wait staff is fantastic and the owners are very friendly. A big key to great Italian restaurants is how well they do with the basics. The red sauce here is fantastic. Hard to find the right words to describe how wonderful it tastes. They are using the freshest, highest quality ingredients and it shows in their excellent meatballs. The sauces in the lobster pasta and veal pasta blew us away. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next night after a table opened up last minute. If I didn't live three hours away I would be here regularly. Cannot recommend this place enough.

If you enjoy been rushed, hostess with terrible attitude (she actually slammed my plates taking them away). She sat us directly in the sun even though 4 other tables in the shade were empty around us. I was burning up.They gave us 5 minutes for desert. They were trying to get us out of there ASAP. It was really uncomfortable. My mussels were overcooked. No one ever asked us how the food was. The only bright spot was Jake, the manager, after I explained to him what had happened at the end of the meal. He said he will make it right the next time. I am debating of there is a next time. There has to be better options out there. The whole experience was bad for me. Worst meal experience in a long time for me. Very disappointed.

I visited with a group of friends, some of whom are vegan, and we were excited to try a few items from the vegan menu. We ordered four dishes to share, but unfortunately, we were all disappointed with the quality and flavor of the food. One dish was so off that we had to send it back, though to their credit, the kitchen did remake it.
While we really appreciate that the restaurant offers a vegan menu, it was surprising and a bit frustrating that the dishes didn’t meet even basic expectations for taste or preparation. If you’re going to offer vegan options, they should be thoughtfully crafted and enjoyable.
On a positive note, our server was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and very understanding throughout the meal.

She was friendly, attentive, and had the perfect balance of professionalism and personality.
