Worth the wait; the food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing!

Private Name

My first time here. And I already adore this place. I had Mimis lemon ricotta pancakes. Featured on "Beat Bobby Flay". She should have beat him. They were amazingly delicious. A savory and not too sweet dish served with blueberry compote. Her home fries (ordered mine with bacon) were amazing. And stand out from regular home fries you can have elsewhere. I couldnt resist trying her toffee hot chocolate. Piled high with whip cream. Awesome breakfast spot. The added touch is the slow 40's and 50's jazz music playing in the background. Reminded me of my Grandma's house on Saturday mornings. Cute and cozy breakfast spot. Definitely worth the stop by. Thank you for a wonderful experience. ❤️

Amazing food and bakery! If you don't get there early, there will be a wait but it's worth it!

While not the experience we were hoping for, I won't be too harsh on this tiny little eatery. It was extremely busy on the morning we visited, but I'm assuming this is often the case. Upon arrival, we were told there was an hour wait, so we put on our names and walked down the block to have a coffee on the patio of another local spot. We returned when texted that our table would be ready in 10 minutes. My wife and I both had the Challah French Toast. Mine was ok, but my wife was very unhappy with hers. She seemed to get two bread ends, that were extremely dry. I ordered the cheddar home fries as well, which were quite good. Our waitress, while friendly, seemed rather forgetful as we had to hail her down a few times to remind her of things we had asked for (coffee, syrup, the bill). It's quite cramped, and just getting to the restroom can feel like an obstacle course. The baked goods in the front display all looked quite good, though we didn't purchase any. Not likely we'll return.

SADNA AND KIDS

My family and I went for breakfast at a popular local spot, where we faced a 40-minute wait but passed the time with a stroll around the area. Once seated, we enjoyed a delicious meal—French toast for me, bacon and pancakes for the kids, and a blueberry pancake for my wife—all cooked to perfection. Even the coffee stood out, making the wait worthwhile. Before heading home, we grabbed an assortment of pastries, which, like our breakfast, were fresh and flavorful. The entire experience was fantastic, and we’d gladly return in the future.

My wife and I took our two sons out for breakfast at a popular local spot. When we arrived, the place was bustling with customers, and we were told there would be about a 40-minute wait to be seated. Rather than just standing around, we decided to take a leisurely stroll around the area, which made the wait feel much shorter and gave us a chance to explore a bit.

Once we were seated, we looked over the menu and placed our orders. I opted for French toast, while the kids went for a classic combination of bacon and pancakes. My wife decided on a blueberry pancake, which sounded too good to pass up. When our food arrived, it was clear that the wait had been well worth it. Everything was cooked to perfection—the French toast had just the right balance of crispiness and softness, the pancakes were fluffy and rich, and even the coffee was exceptional. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and I knew right away that this was a place we’d want to visit again.

Before heading home, we decided to stop back in and pick up a few pastries for the road. The selection was tempting, and we chose a mix of different treats to enjoy on the drive back. Just like our breakfast, the pastries did not disappoint—they were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to wrap up our visit. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I’d gladly return to this spot in the future.

"That was delicious," I said outloud as I walked out the front door.

The lemon riccota pancakes are some of the best I have ever had. I paired it with a home made berry jellato. Perfect idea!
The regular pancakes with that superbly delicious maple syrup were sweet, spongy, and tasting so close to my childhood favorite ...twinkies! But a lot fresher ofcourse.
Potatoes were amazing as well. Bite size with just the right amount of spiceness.

The restaurant was very busy though on a very cold morning. It was a holiday Monday morning. We had to wait outside just to give our names, to wait another 45 minutes. Fortunately we parked down the block and were able to escape the elements. Was it worth the wait? Sure. Would I deal with the wait everytime I thought about coming back. Not sure. Either way. This is a must try if in the area.

We arrived 30 minutes before closing, but the hostess, Izzy, was still very gracious when seating us. She later helped us pick out a baked good from the pastry case as well. Our server Julia was also amazing. Customer service was exceptional, and it was a great brunch spot!

Atmosphere - Be prepared to wait 30+ mins. We had to wait 42 mins exactly. You walk up to the hostess and give your name and phone number. It's a little intrusive since there's already a line forming, everyone and their mother can hear your private information. Things like this always make me feel a little weird but it is what it is. Inside is super cramped. As the hours pass since they close at 2pm, it starts getting more spacious but other than that, you will hear other peoples private conversations, and they will hear yours. One of those eat and go spots.

Service - just OK. Friendly and professional enough. Food came fairly quick which is a plus. However, the eggs are supposed to come with toast and they jipped me on the toast. I don't know if it was my fault or the waitress but I wanted a "coke" and she heard "coco" and proceeded to make hot cocoa which I never have and I had to have my man correct the order before the incorrect item was made and served. Anyway lesson learned for me to speak up louder.

Food - Very delicious. Pancakes were soooo good and fluffy. I would come back here but I'd order for pick up next time. Not worth to dine in. Too much commotion.

Very cozy and welcoming place. The staff is super friendly and the menu is great for those with a sweet tooth like myself. I had a caramel hot chocolate and the cinnamon roll pancakes with a side of bacon. It was delicious and everything is presented well which I can appreciate since I’m a chef. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our time here and would recommend this place to people visiting the area. We also liked the little bakery case in the front and had to try a couple things on our way out. The almond cookie was especially tasty.
