Traveling for baseball & wanted to try chinese around. Called a couple of places & came to the conclusion that Taste of CHINA was the best for my family and I since we are extra picky. Ordering online was easy , walked in and it smelled pretty good. Got my food and headed back to My Airbnb , boneless spare ribs were not to our liking, honestly were lacking flavor. On the plus side, they offered numerous lunchtime specials and the staff was nice The boneless spareribs was a very generous portion and tasted yummy. The accompanying rice didn’t have much flavor and the egg drop soup was average. I also got an order of fried wonton, one of my favorite appetizers. These were cooked just a drop too long and they came out extremely crispy but not actually burnt. Overall okay but probably not making a 2nd trip.
was boxer-sitting for a few days. rather than cook, i mostly go for chinese take-out. taste of china was open (2 closer places were closed for a month) so they were my dinner choice. basic store-front operation in a strip-mall. food was good. pricing a little more than i pay in albany, but it is summer in saratoga ! went back 2 days later.
