High end prices for low end atmosphere. Food was decent but pasta was undercooked and could have used a few more minutes.
Given that this place came so highly recommended, with raving reviews online, my expectations were quite high.
Unfortunately, I was generally underwhelmed - by the meal. The service was spot-on, the wine list would be hard to argue is not the best in the area. The desserts were to-die-for! The dishes themselves were at best - average. I and our guests have had plenty better Italian meals elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, they were OK, but most certainly not deserving of high praise.
I won't ding them for their dated & sub-par Scotch & bourbon list, as that is not what their reputation is built upon.
We likely will not be going again as there are numerous fine dining Italian restaurants in the area...

Arrived at 4:50 to empty restaurant. Bar tender/host more concerned about the 6:30 reservations he had coming in vs the customer standing in front of him. We were asked to leave at 6:20 when four people came into the still empty restaurant because they were the reservation that came in for our table… totally bizarre and short sighted. Food mediocre and very expensive. Will never return.

We arrived at 4:40, place was empty except for 2 tables. We were asked if we had a reservation which we did not and did not think we would need to have one on a Sunday off season. We were told they could seat us but that we had to be out of the restaurant by 6:30 pm because that was when all their reservations were coming in…shocking.. like the place was empty and remained empty through out our mediocre dinner. At 6:20 we were asked to leave when 4 people came into the still empty restaurant. Rude and near sighted… won’t return.
Don’t order their takeout. Pizza was soggy, bread was what you would get at a supermarket. I assume the dine-in experience may be better, but doubt it’s good

Waited 40 min for our non complimentary bread, waitress never checked on us during the entire time. I got the wine menu but waitress never came to take my drink order. It took almost one hour for our food to come out. Food was ok. Overall I wouldn’t return.

Great little local Italian spot in a quiet neighborhood just west of downtown. We stopped in and sat at the bar for a quick bite to eat. The food was good. The service was unbelievably quick!!
Looking around at some of the meals on the other tables, the pizza looked good as well. Looking forward to stopping in again next time in town.

Always a great experience here! We love to sit at the bar and go frequently. Both of the bartenders we’ve had there are spectacular and it’s always a chill, fun vibe.
Food is always consistently delicious!
Cocktails are great and the wine list is amazing.
Home run every time! Do not miss this gem!!

It saddens me to write this review. One thing to note prior to this review is that I understand that there is a reservation system in place for this restaurant. What saddens me is that my friends and I drove through the harsh rain (Hurricane Debbie) to come to this restaurant based on the wonderful reviews. We walked in and we did not feel a warmth in service. We saw only confusion. We were asked if we had reservations. We replied no. They said sorry they are fully booked. Based on visual observation, there were several empty tables. There was no livelihood in the restaurant at that moment.
Upon seeing other reviews, I see that there has been others who were “squeezed” in despite not having a reservation.
I am afraid that there is not an equality system put in place. If we were shown empathy, perhaps we would have felt comforted. Us driving in the harsh rain to only be denied at the front of the door while there are empty tables, seems absolutely unfair!
Sorry, I do not believe we intend to ever visit this place again. Equality should be put in place.

We had dinner at the restaurant for the first time and it will definitely not be the last. It is a gem located in a neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Broadway. It was a delightful experience with exceptional food….. definitely try the specials for racing season and the burrata. The wine list had excellent wines at a variety of price points and I loved that they listed the ratings…. This made me try a Barola I had not heard of!
Our server was knowledgeable, gave great recommendations and made the evening a great experience. Everyone was warm and welcoming ……
Parking: It appeared that there was plenty of parking but we walked to the restaurant from the hotel which was less than five

I love this restaurant and the team was so accommodating I didn’t have a reservation and they were able to squeeze me in during my visit! The food and service were prompt and wonderful! My server was knowledgeable and very friendly! I will visit again! I only wish there was more outdoor seating!

My friends have a condo by here and go all the time. I come up a couple a times a year and this place is fantastic. You get a homey feeling . Everyone is so friendly which is a plus as the food is fantastic. They have a lovely bar where you can sit and eat if you want . Last night my friend and I split a yummy salad and a vegetable pizza which was delicious. Her husband had an appetizer of the most yummy meatballs and chicken piccata. Had some of the meatball with my salad . So so tasty. The menu has many choices along with specials. A good wine list too and beers on tap. If you haven’t been , I highly recommend.
