Stopped for nachos & chicken fingers. Both were delicious & plentiful. Our bartender was attentive & helpful explaining the beers on tap. A beer list or board would be helpful too, in case they are too busy to explain them all. Not our first visit. We'll be back.

I came here the other day for lunch with my significant other, it took them about 15 minutes to meet us at the door, then another 15 to come and ask us for our drinks. Don’t even get me started on how long I had to wait for my Buffalo chicken dip and it wasn’t even good! Chunks of cream cheese and cold. I had to leave after that one, totally not worth the time. there was also too many flies and an ant in my drink. Very unpleasant.

Came in last night for a late dinner. Server was lovely and the food was just what we wanted!

We met my son and his family there on Saturday (early dinner) and my beet/goat cheese salad with add-on salmon was amazing! All our meals were great. Thank you! My son and his wife are vegetarians, and they chose the location.

Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian, but my son and his wife are and they were very pleased with the choices.

Great neighborhood bar and grill. Food was great pub fare (fish and chips 2 thumbs up), Irish cuban was my choice. Good cocktails and decent beer selection.

This place alone makes me wish I lived in Saratoga Springs and wasn't just visiting. Who in America has a real, authentic, cozy, neighborhood pub they can walk to with great food, good beers, friendly service and an absolutely perfect decor and atmosphere? The people of this neighborhood in Saratoga Springs do. I was in town for a week. I had three meals here and made two trips just to have a cider and a snack, and if I lived nearby, I'd be a twice-a-week customer at minimum. As for specific dishes, the fish & chips and shepherds pie are excellent, and the Irish Cuban sandwich that I expected to be a weird clash of flavors turned out to be absolutely delicious. If you live near The Local, you probably don't need to hear anything from me. If you're visiting Saratoga Springs, ABSOLUTELY hit this spot at least once.

We were away and tried this place for dinner. We shared a spinach artichoke dip and a fried chicken wrap. It was excellent. Server was pleasant and our food was served fast. The spinach artichoke dip was piping hot. I would definitely go back again if I am back in that area.

This local pub is off the main street is very professional. It reminds me of brewery with fresh local foods and lovely people. The food we ordered was delicious and sweet fries were unlike any others and wonderful cajum chicken sandwich also blt was great.
