I love this place and have spent many hours reading and drinking coffee here before the pandemic.. I recently went in for the first time in quite a few years for a decaf coffee and scone The decaf coffee was burnt and the scone was stale it seems that since the pandemic quality food has not become a high priority, most places just hanging on I guess this was a true disappointment.

An average kind of place. Nostalgic only because it's been around for quite some time. Coffee is better than bad but not spectacular. For coffee, you're better off going to Kru down the street.
Service would have been fine except for the incredible rude young kid who demanded I place my cup in an overflowing bin of nonsense verses, gently taking the cup from me. It was clear he was more interested in conversation about nothing than servicing the customer.
Perhaps next time, I will be welcomed with more warmth.

Very crowded and the line moves so slowly. At times it felt like the line didn't move for nearly 20 minutes.

Great place but a bit too dark for me. It is hard to read the menus posted; love the bagels and coffee.

This place is constantly busy and for good reason. There has not been a time we've walked in that there is not a line wrapped halfway down the length of the restaurant. Today at noon, it was to the back. That said, 23min to order, food less than 10min later. Service once you order is quick. Quicker when it's not cooked items. We were here at 9:00 today for breakfast too. So, the food is hands down worth it.
Now... hot beverages leave something to desire. That hot part. The coffee is great. The cocoa tastes fantastic. However, lukewarm at best. The whole point of a hot beverage is the heat. If we need to nuke the beverage at home, I'll just make it at home. This is a shame considering this is first a coffee house. So, the latte, cocoa, or other taste good but leave us disappointed. Hence, the 3 stars instead of more.
Friendly staff. Will return for food again, and again, ahhh and again.

Great spot with plenty of room. Went for coffee but ended up staying for a breakfast sandwich. Bagel was top tier and would recommend one of their large cookies.
Very tasty bagel sandwiches and some of the best coffee I've had.
Very, very busy when I was there and for an out of town guest my cashier did a great job explaining how they organized orders-where to pickup drinks vs food. Others in my party were less informed by their cashier

On my yearly trips to Saratoga Springs, I always make sure to stop here. The coffee and pastries are delicious and the employees are always really nice. The Pumpkin Doodle Latte and Tumeric Latte are my personal favorites.

I've frequented Uncommon Grounds for several years, every time I am in Saratoga. The coffee is always roasted perfectly, and the food is delicious. The staff is lively and courteous and even with a line that wraps around the coffee house, they are kind and efficient. A wonderful place to start your day.

Nice little spot down town. Decent bagels and very good coffee. They do a good job of handling how insanely busy they get

Two mornings in a row I asked for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Twice in a row I’m given a non-toasted bagel, which I only discover when I’m long gone. Cold bagels with cream cheese when it’s cold outside is a bummer. The breakfast sandwich is ok, not great. The appeal is that they are open early and the line moves quickly. And the staff is very nice and efficient (though toaster avoidant).
