This is a very popular place - for good reason - so don’t be surprised if you have to wait in line for 20 or so minutes. The bagels and pastries are fresh, fresh, fresh, and the coffee is top shelf. They give you the drinks up front, then you wait for any food that needs to be “assembled” or heated. Stopped in one Sunday afternoon for coffee and dessert one Sunday afternoon. It seemed the rest of the town had the same idea as it was really crowded. We enjoyed a cinnamon raisin bagel and cheddar parmesan bagel along with cafe mochas. There are not many seats around, but we eventually found a table for two near the back. It was a good meal in a relaxed no rush environment. Glad we persevered through the crowds and enjoyed Common Grounds.
I love this place and have spent many hours reading and drinking coffee here before the pandemic.. I recently went in for the first time in quite a few years for a decaf coffee and scone The decaf coffee was burnt and the scone was stale it seems that since the pandemic quality food has not become a high priority, most places just hanging on I guess this was a true disappointment.
