The West Side Sports Bar & Grill

Probably not ever coming back.
Literally saw other patrons around me asked by those who weren’t their server about their food and experience.
My server only asked me about the food and didn’t ask about refilling my beer or water.
Blue moon had a dirty and old looking orange peel.
Nachos were decent but wayyy too many chips.
Lot of tv options which are great.

Was to busy to get food and a drink. Looked fun though

I’m new to the capital region and this is the first bar-restaurant that I have tried in Saratoga Springs but it is already my favorite! I ordered the steak salad and when it arrived the salad is larger than I expected and very well prepared and super fresh. Also the steak was exactly cooked the way I requested and the salad dressing was homemade. I was actually still hungry after the salad so I ordered a side of hand made French fries which was nice with the skins still on and seasoned with fine chopped something perhaps parsley but I’m not sure but I asked for tarter sauce and they said no problem so service also gets my 5 stars. Another bonus is they have off street parking here.

I got two french onion soups to go and it was the worst. It was so small and basically like moist stuffing. There was barely any broth in either of the ones I got to go.
It might have been better if I had got it in the store in the crock but I'm not sure.
$9 plus tax and tip to go per french onion soup with small portion and bad taste.

Decent spot, quick service, portions were good, wings cooked liked they were ordered... Blue cheese is EXCELLENT! 👍🏼👍🏼

1st timer and will certainly be back. Great food, great service, packed house and never had to wait for a drink. Waitress right in top of everything.

Sat on the patio with out kids. It was nice because mostly enclosed so our toddler could look around. We had a salad, chicken tenders kid’s meal and wings/beer special. The kid’s meal was a good size for the price. Cobb salad was really good.

I only demoted service to 4 stars out of 5, because e waited quite a while for our box and tab. Otherwise every to ing was great!

Parking: Seems pretty easy to get a spot.

Kid-friendliness: They had a changing table in the women’s bathroom. They also had a kid’s menu with several options. (Burger, noodles, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, etc).

Food ok. Waitress very sweet. However, kitchen staff yelling, cursing NON STOP was beyond unprofessional & uncomfortable. Arrived at 7:20 and the disgusting, uncontrollable men who felt that cursing and arguing at top of their lungs was acceptable proved that this establishment has zero class and respect for the paying customers. Stay clear of this brawling place. Not enjoyable one bit.

After some debate my wife and I gave this place one final chance after 2 bad experiences last year. Happy to say the food has returned to its previous level of quality. Not sure what changed, but happy to have it back. Please never go back to the micro calimari y'all served up last year. What we just had is the best portion and taste in the capital region!

I used to love coming here when I was younger! The menu is a tad bit small I was glad to see they didn't get rid of the buffalo calamari it is amazing! I had a Ruben the sandwich was huge and the corned beef was amazing they must make it in the restaraunt and not use processed garbage like alot of places. The waitress was the only server she was really busy and stayed on top of our table. I will be going back more often

Casual atmosphere and a wide range of menu options make Westside a great choice for family and friends. Staff is awesome.

Vegetarian options: Salads and Brussel sprouts. They allow menu tweaking to meet your needs.

Dietary restrictions: GF wraps and rolls.

Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly menu options. Ramp entrance in back for strollers. Porch seating in summer. Ample parking in lot and on street.

Go see Dave the Waiter from the Bronx . Food was great. Service was better. Bring your pup and eat on the deck. He will make sure you all leave happy!!!!
