We always used to dine at the former restaurant at this location which was called Crickets. It was one of our "go-to" places to dine. We did not know that it had reopened under new management. What a really pleasant surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers of Garlic Parmesan Wings and Scallops and Pork Belly. The entrees of Fish & Chips and Shrimp and Scallop Scampi were delectable. We don't usually have dessert, but the Key Lime Pie and Pegs Sweet Crumb Cake were absolutely amazing. This will again become our "go-to" place to dine at.

They not quite ready for brunch. They only have white toast no jelly for toast. Food was good but their dinners are better

Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service. Please thank Julianna for her great service. Much appreciated.

We were there on a Friday evening and the noise level was beyond energetic - it was almost too loud to hear your dining partners. Waitress was great. Food was good

Heather

VERY noisy - thankfully the hostess honored our Open Table request for a table by the open window to the street which cut down on the noise.

The waitress (Marcia) was very nice, but she was handling so many tables at the same time that sometimes it took a long time to flag her down when we needed something. The menu had a lot of interesting items to choose from. We ordered the Kung Pao cauliflower, but it was simply roasted cauliflower in a very loose sauce which tasted like plain soy sauce. We also had the fried calamari - firecracker - which was excellent. I had the smash burger with no bun, but it was very well done and dry. Overall, I would go back again to try other menu items.

This is the first time we have been to the wayward kitchen. We brought our family of eight people. We will return.

First time at Waywood and we absolutely loved it. Enjoyed a delicious lunch and our waiter was super nice. The older gentlemen was a delight and you could tell he really enjoyed seeing his customers enjoy their afternoon at Waywood. I was visiting from out of state but when I return for another visit in the future I will most definitely be dining there again.

Booked a reservation here to take out my wife and kids for Mother's Day. The restaurant was big and comfortable (although a little bit in the loud side). The menu had tons of options. The waitress was extremely friendly and was on top of refills. The food was delicious. My wife had the lobster roll and I was surprised at how large the pieces of lobster were. This was my first time going there, but won't be my last time.

The drinks and food were equally delicious. The service was on point. We were a party of five and loved every minute of our time there. The Wayward never disappoints.

Nothing special sadly. Food came out on time, but wasn't anything special. Nothing blew us away but was edible and hot at least. We sat down and it took a good 5-7 mins to get greeted, Took us another 10 mins to get water, had to ask for silverware once apps arrived. Service could have been better, she seemed newer. All in all not a terrible experience. We would give it another shot.

We have eaten at Wayward Kitchen several times over the past two months and have enjoyed all of our meals. The service is very good and the waitstaff is very friendly. On one side of the restaurant the bar area is very active and a bit noisey but the other side of the restaurant is quieter so you do have a choice.

First, I want to complement the hostesses. You can see they go over above and beyond. Those girls were hustling from the moment we walked in there. They are sweet, smiling, and very efficient. They were busing tables and on top of their game. The bar staff, different story. Mind you this is our first time here We sat at the bar and the bartender greeted us, but they never came back to us. A female bartender came out from the back, not asking who was first, but then took peoples order behind us that were there after us. Then the male bartender return, proceeded to say hello to the people over the left of us and took their order and us sitting there. Finally, the original female bartender took our order. The drink was over sweet, absolutely no garnish (it's supposed to come with espresso beans and a Reese's peanut butter cup as advertised online) Not impressed at all. Noise level at the bar is insane, they need to do something with acoustics in there. We sat on time at our table, our server was very very busy. She was very sweet, but you can tell she was a bit overwhelmed. The redeeming quality was the food. Very delicious. I don't know if I would go back again just because it was so loud in there you couldn't even have a conversation in the bar area.
