The Wayward Kitchen & Cocktails

This place has a lot going on and a wonderful atmosphere. The food portions are a little smaller than I would prefer but of the several things I have tried it is very good. We also went there for one of their events and it was a great experience for all ages. They had a movie going for kids while the adults could sit and talk. The server suggested a speciality cocktail that was excellent.

The food was mediocre and the service was really poor. I found the staff to be quite rude and inattentive.

NEVRR AGAIN!!!! Just a fancy diner, I don’t mind paying the price for good food, but this was not good food

jules at the bar was terrific. she made delicious espresso martinis and was very attentive and friendly. we had chicken wings that were crispy and delicious!

Yummy cocktails. Not sure about the food. My fried chicken was gray 🤢. I felt weird sending it back because, someone saw it, plated it and served it, so obviously that's already a problem.

Great place to chill with friends! The staff was super friendly, the food and drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect. Bartender Jules was great — very welcoming and made excellent drinks. Definitely a spot worth visiting again!

Our bartender was GREAT!! It was a weeknight and we both ordered the daily special $15 burger and beer special. I rarely write a bad review, but this smash burger was overcooked and it was the “proverbial shoe leather”. I should have respectfully sent it back, but it had been a long and difficult day, and making a complaint just wasn’t worth it.
This was the 5th or 6th time I’ve eaten here since they first opened, and every meal I’ve ever ordered has been “meh”. The bar is always a positive experience, but the kitchen is simply not up to serving sandwiches and burgers.
Sorry, I hope ownership takes note here.

Did take out through the app toast for pick up, arrived at the time they said it would be done, once I walked In I said I’m picking up and the girl at the front barley wanted to go look for my food, waited 15 mins and her coworker told her that it’s been at the bar waiting for pickup.. let’s just say I paid for cold burger and cold soup. Don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon. They should hire someone that actually wants to work and not just stand there.

The bartenders were great, and the atmosphere was cozy but the main thing that put this place over the top was the delicious Braised Short Ribs. I will get this everytime I don't care how much it costs. Thats was worth every penny. I could have used a little more mashed potatoes but I am a mashed potatoes kind of guy.

This was my first time going there with the wife. Atmosphere is good music on point. We ordered appetizer had the pretzel and fried mozzarella. Good. French onion soup was good as well. My wife wanted to get her sandwich on a wrap. The waitress comes back and says the chef said they could not do it because they were to busy. Whaaaaatt I’ve never heard that in my life. I ordered the smash burger. It was ok tasted a little burnt. So sadly to say that will be our last time there.

Came her for Easter with my family, Marcia recommended us the absolute BEST appetizers and entrees. Everything was so good we even had dessert which we usually skip. 10/10 - Marcia you were an amazingly attentive and kind waitress, thanks for making our day!

I came here for dinner with a large party, and unfortunately the service was really disappointing. We barely saw our server throughout the night and had to keep trying to get someone’s attention for basic things like drinks and refills. For a big group, you’d expect a little more attentiveness, but it felt like we were forgotten most of the time. The experience just wasn’t what we hoped for.
