Cafe Alaia never disappoints! A delightful evening with good friends, good food, good wine, and courteous professional service. A great neighborhood staple, but worth the drive even if you are not from the neighborhood.
Seemed like the first day for the Waitress. Simple stuff like Prosecco served in a regular wine glass
Perfecto! Ambience amazing; service outstanding; Food superba! Great night will be back for sure!
Exceptional as expected. The octopus was charred to perfection, the beet and goat cheese salad was wonderfully flavorful. Service was very attentive. A wonderful dining experience with friends.
Service was a step above, engaging but not overbearing. Across apps and mains food was good, not great. Dessert was not up to par with the rest of the meal, but maybe a one off
Cafe' Alaia is one of my favorite places to dine. The food quality is exceptional. The dishes are not only authentic Italian but also bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the chef's dedication to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The presentation of the food was equally impressive, with each dish beautifully arranged and visually appealing. The service at Cafe' Alaia is fantastic. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure that every need was met promptly. Their professionalism and warmth added to the overall dining experience. I must also mention their impressive wine selection. The variety and quality of wines available perfectly complemented the delicious food, making the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Cafe' Alaia to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience with excellent food, service, and wine selection.
My review is mixed. The food was good, but pricey. The service was great. The wine list lacks variety and was mediocre at best. $75 corkage for Westchester County is outrageous.
Calamari was excellent. Caesar salad with delicious but for its size expensive. Salmon was cooked well but accompanied by a less desirable sauce. Potatoes that were included were delicious. Overall a very good restaurant.
My husband and I tried Cafe Alaia on the recommendation of my Italian hair dresser. She kept telling me how good it was. It did not disappoint. Everything we had was delicious from the fried mozzarella appetizer, our pasta entrees, to the pear tart dessert. My only criticism was specials are told to you by the waiter with no prices included. $30 for fried mozzarella should not be in anyone's budget. We were a little taken back about the price when we got the bill. It won't stop me from returning, but I will definitely ask the price the next time.
My Bolognese pasta was clumpy and misshapen. I didn't say anything at the time because I didn't want to make a fuss in front of our friends. I was very disappointed.

Great service and good! Not a big deal but they didn't acknowledge our anniversary tho I put it in reservation.
Beautiful charming place to eat or have a drink. Elegant and authentic, modern Italian food. Bread and biscotti made in house, exceptional. Extensive list of specials, ordering from there was the way go. Espresso was the best I've ever had in Westchester. Outstanding service from Fabrizio
I woukd recommend this restaurant because the food is close to eating as if you are in Italy!!!
Fantastic food, wine list and service! The wild-caught salmon is delicious with perfectly crispy skin every time!
we had one of the best meals we've ever had in westchester county. Would highly recommend!
