The staff is attentive and the atmosphere is lovely, providing a great setting whether dining in the main rooms or at the bar. The food is fresh and delicious, with standout dishes like seabass, short-rib ravioli, rack of lamb, and chicken paillard. The famous Bread Pudding is a must-try, and dessert options are delightful. Recent guests enjoyed the Apple cheddar salad and the red snapper special, describing their meals as some of the most delicious they’ve had in a long time. The service is excellent, with knowledgeable servers and welcoming owners who greet guests warmly. While minor issues like noise levels and overly salted spinach were noted, the overall experience remains enjoyable. The olive oil served with the bread could be improved, but the sea bass special was exceptional. With a great selection of dishes and attentive service, Meritage continues to be a delightful dining option for all.
