I had the $9.99 breakfast Slam that they offer on the value menu. Two pancakes, four pieces of meat, two eggs, and a hash brown? In 2026 that's a hell of a deal.For $2.99, I upgraded my pancakes to Berry Benana. The fruit slices on those pancakes were fresh and very good. I love being able to come here for breakfast after a long overnight shift at the gas station. I'll be back.
It's a Denny's, it's great and open all the time. The staff are nice and take good care of ya. Food is good and pretty quick
Good food, but you can smell the bathroom throughout the front of the restaurant. Really unpleasant.

Denny’s in Schenectady offers a lively dining experience. The chef and the waitress were entertaining with their banter, and the service is often highlighted as a standout feature. The decor needs a desperate update, and some guests note that the eggs were just a little greasy. Pancakes, including a banana version and a mini pancake, were described as not too bad. The mac n cheese skillet was hot and delicious, and other menu items such as French toast, fruit cups, and eggs were made perfectly. A server singlehandedly juggling three family tables showed incredible care. The waitress is hilarious, has a great personality, and provides great service. The location has faced occasional closures, with a notice to vacate on the interior door and reports that the city shut it down. Despite these issues, many guests still love the food and welcoming atmosphere.
