“Every experience we’ve had has been positive. The staff are attentive and kind. They genuinely seem happy to serve their customers. We had a mix up w a take out order and they apologized repeatedly. On our next trip, the remembered my name and more than compensated us for the mistake. I was blown away by the customer service. And the food? It’s spot on. Fresh, delicious and consistently good. Niji is truly a gem in the heart of Rotterdam and my family and I would highly recommend their establishment.“

“We had a joyous birthday celebration at my son’s favorite restaurant. Akanomi’s staff and sushi chefs, itamae, excelled at all endeavors. Vivan was spot on with her suggestions and service. She anticipated all of our needs, especially with our children. The chicken soba soup, tuna carpaccio and Hawaii Rolls were our favorites. Then the sashimi / sushi mixed roll party docked. It was stunning in presentation, offerings and taste. Oh my, it was very impressive. A most wonderful time was had by all.“

“This place is amazing. I didn't know what to expect going in to the all you can eat restaurant. I was happily surprised that it's not buffet style. Servers and bussers. The restaurant is nicely styled and comfortable. The greeters and wait staff couldn't have been kinder or more professional. $28.99 is worth every penny just for that. The longest we had to wait between orders was no more than 5 minutes. The food was fresh, perfectly presented and absolutely delicious! I really can't find the superlatives to describe it. “We only really get bubble tea when we come through, though I plan to try their food sometime soon and will update our rating. We often get food from their sister stall across from them. But we love coming here. My son thinks their bubble tea is the best and they are the only place who can omit green tea from their fruit teas for little people who don't really need the caffeine. Very friendly, kind and accommodating people run this place and we will keep coming back for a long time.“

“The food is delicious! The boba tea (I got Taro) is not too sweet, but a perfect balance. The boba (tapioca pearls) were flavorful too. The ramen soup is scrumptious. So many different flavors. I can’t fit it all in, great portions. The pork is juicy and crispy and flavorful. Eggs are perfectly cooked. This was my second time here, getting the same thing, because it’s so good! It was a little on the expensive side (12.50 for the pork ramen, 6.50 for the boba) overall, 5 stars.“

“Smaller proportions than expected.

Ordered over the phone ahead of time, putting in an order of crab rangoon, a shrimp tempura roll, and the fried seafood roll. Coming to a little over $26, a very acceptable price.

Picking up was fast and easy and the lady staffing the receptionist desk was also very friendly, the bag was radiating warmth so I knew the to-go was fresh.

Back home opening everything up I was surprised by how much smaller than expected the sizes of everything were, only a handful of crab rangoon and both sushi rolls fit in a container that I would normally just see one set inside. Now the shrimp tempura I could see being that size, but the fried seafood was pretty pricy for just a 6 piece.

So the taste must have been worth it then? Well, almost. The crab rangoon was tasty but there was way too much fried wrap, and not nearly enough stuffing. The shrimp tempura was perfectly fine, but nothing to write home about. And the fried seafood roll, the one I was most excited about, had a very strong fishy flavor to it. Not in a "oh this has gone bad" way, but in a "I have the ocean in my mouth" way. I think it might have been the fish roe that was sprinkled on top of the roll, which was very strong, salty, and had a shocking fish flavor to it. Had to counter the roe by dipping in the accompanying soy sauce.

So while I was not throughly impressed with my meal, it was satisfying and filled me up nicely.“

“we love tengu asian bistro! it's our favorite place for sushi! especially today...I think we received the best grab Rangoon ever!! idk what is different about it, but it almost tastes like there's a coconut flavor in them as well as the dipping sauce. they were great to begin with, but whatever was done differently today was even better, keep doing it!“
