Have heard great things about Wayward since their opening. Finally made the drive to check it out ourselves. The taproom wqs delightful even on a rainy February Saturday. The reasonable ABVs and available half-pint pours enable us to try a majority of the styles on tap. All were absolutely top-notch. Beers were inventive and flawlessly brewed. One of our top capital region breweries to visit that checks all the boxes. It's a beautiful spot, a little bit of a drive from Albany, but worth it! Seating inside or outside depending on the weather, either way you'll get a view of the chicken neighbors running around. They're great entertainment! My wife and I enjoyed a couple beers and relaxed on one of the many picnic tables available. They also have a barn with additional tables so there's plenty of room. I had the "Here on Out," a hazy IPA that was delicious. I bought a four-pack to bring home. They also had a food truck and we got an order of Lo Lo Beef dumplings (6 dumplings for $9), which were excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere. We even enjoyed watching some chickens and roosters running around.
