Went here because my mom was in town and I wanted her to try some Southern style cooking. Had the strip steak and several orders of Jambalaya and Gumbo (kids and adults portions) as takeout. I regret it, dumped every last bit of the Gumbo and Jambalaya. Rice was hard, Jambalaya and Gumbo (very similar sauces) seemed sour as if it had gone bad. Not sure if it was an off day in the kitchen (early afternoon meals) but I have no plans of returning. I called to find out if the food was prepared the night before and notified them of the spoiled taste but had zero interest in returning for the free food that was offered. Strip Steak and fries were really good though. Strange how many positive reviews this place has, that's actually what lead me there....thanks Google!

I had been a loyal patron for 20 years. Unfortunately, they have let the quality of the food decline over the years. Last week I had wings and they were rubbery and the watery hot sauce would not even stick to them. This place used to be known for excellent chicken wings. They seem more concerned with the bar clientele. I hope they try to turn things around some day.

It is now close. Which is sad. I will miss continuing my memories on with it. I will miss the many good bands that played there, but most of all I will miss gathering with friends there.

Not a good experience. The interior of this place could use a real good airing out to begin with - is real dark and reminds me of something out of 1977. I suspect its been a long long time since its been deep cleaned. Afraid to think what's behind the kitchen appliances. Food was for the most part OK . With all the competition within a 20 minute of ride of this place OK won't bring me back. It took over 45 minutes to get dinner on the table after ordering and one of the orders was wrong. The service was not good.

Visited just after lunch and service was extremely slow with only a couple groups in the restaurant. Despite that, the delicious Louisiana food made up for the long wait. Wouldn't go often, but good night bar or leisurely lunch spot.

Atmosphere and service was great, food was a little lackluster but maybe it's just what we got, only went one time. Just not a lot of flavor for Cajun food, if you are looking for a mild version of Cajun this is it though.

Food was Ok , service was not. Waitress did not listen to what we actually ordered. We went for appetizers and salads. It took 40 minutes and she finally brought out our hot appetizers and a few minutes later brought the salad. I ordered a simple Caesar salad, mild boneless wings and loaded potato skins with NO sour cream. We received grilled chicken salad with terribly under cooked chicken and HOT boneless wings with sour cream, the bill came to about $50 with non alcoholic drinks and all we enjoyed was the potato skins.....horrible service

Had an early Mother's Day dinner there it was great. Not too many restaurants have a pool table. It was nice to shoot for a while waiting for our meal. First time I got to try alligator, so good. In the meal you get large portions for a decent price. Service is great. I will definitely go there again.
Neat place, has a Southern Louisiana type flair to it. The gumbo is really good.

Slightly better than decent chicken wings at a more than reasonable price on wing night, left me satisfied. My buddies surf and turf steak was also better than decent. Solid, local bar. Was hopping in the early evening and the interior is great; tons of bric and brac on the walls. Easy to miss from the road even though it stands by itself, large parking lot in the rear. I appreciated the waitress who took my complaint of the beer being skunked seriously; she eventually convinced the bartender to check the keg (which was bad) and replace it.
