Ordered lunch today which was delivered by Grubhub. These folks get good reviews and I can see why. The food tasted healthy, simple and not greasy. The Wonton Soup was flavorful and the wontons were tasty with just the right amount of meat. The Mei Fun was delightfully light and flavorful. There was an adequate amount of meat in all dishes. prices were fair and delivery was prompt. How How has moved to the top of my Long Island delivery choices!
I was in the shopping center, so I stopped in for a quick lunch special having never been here. Appeared clean. Shocked and disappointed to see the lunch specials do not come with a soup or egg roll, just fried rice. I've never experienced that in any Chinese Take Out before. She tried to get me to upgrade to the combination, which includes an egg roll. I ordered the chicken with string beans. Chicken was tender, sauce was on the bland side. Ahh Chinese food. This used to be the last bastion of cheap food when money was tight. No more! Prices have sky rocketed nearly 50%. Now a tiny pint of pork fried rice is $7...for a handful of recycled rice. Such a shame.
