Great egg sandwiches.
If you're ever around the Port Jefferson area, this is one area that you should stop by because they have a great breakfast selection.
I needed to cater a Celebration of Life. I have had sandwiches from here but never hot food. I took a chance because I really liked their creative options for catering. The food was delivered right on time and the driver helped us set up the racks and sterno. Everything was absolutely delicious. I lost count of the many compliments and everyone asking where we ordered from. I couldn't have been more pleased. The Honey Mustard Baked Chicken was a particular standout and the Pepper Steak was very tender. The Flounder Francais was also really popular. I wish I took photos but I was a bit busy. Will order from here again without hesitation!
incredible hungry man supreme
Laura she is very kind worker and very helpful and excellent customer service. Deserve a raise.
My husband walked in earlier literally few minutes before closure time, and yet they took his order.
Thank you so much for an outstanding service and food quality💕
Setauket Gourmet/ International Deli has not only delicious signature sandwiches, paninis, and wraps, but outstanding customer service that make them a true Three Village icon and an outstanding representation of the best of Long Island's unique deli culture.
I went to the deli only a few minutes before closing time (unbeknownst to me---I hadn't checked their hours) but they still welcomed and served me, took my order, and provided excellent, friendly service. Not all Long Island delis provide this kind of service just a few minutes before closing after a long day.
The deli itself is immaculately clean, well lit, and has nice background music that isn't too loud.
Whether you're dropping in to pickup breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or looking for an outstanding caterer for your private event, they are well worth it! I can't recommend them enough!
Great deli, open early and everything freshly made
Wow! Best Deli on Long Island as far as I'm concerned! The crew treats you like family if you're in there enough, professional and clean. Carl! He's the man! If you want a classic custom sandwich made to order he's your man, I highly recommend taking his recommendations, man knows what he's doing back there. 10/10 would recommend to anyone trying to find some great food at reasonable prices. Thanks guys!
There are a million long island delis but none like this place. The mount melt takes a sacred sandwich and makes it legendary with their garlic panini. Getting a bec and coffee here makes my whole day better. This is a timeless staple of our community with amazing staff ♡ Also Carl is the best and makes the best sandwiches!

Good sandwiches and very good ice tea.
Unfortunate dip in quality and service from just a short while ago. Not sure if it just inopportune times that I am going but its extremely frustrating being ignored by staff and then having to speak to three different people before I can get my call-in order, just to wait another 15 minutes after the pickup time. Its an assumed experience going through the door every time you go.
Food used to be great and reasonably priced, now there is no point in even going when you can spend the same at Seport and not get a headache trying to pickup your order.

After getting a recommendation from a local, I headed over to the Seatauket Gourmet Delicatessen.
I ordered my usual go-to pastrami, egg and cheese on double toasted rye breakfast sammy!
While waiting for my sandwich to be prepared, I sat down in their dining area to rest my leg as I'm still recovering from a severe auto accident and walking with a cane. The dining area made up of a half-dozen tables & surrounded by padded chairs was very warm and inviting.
Soft easy listening music played overhead while both TVs on different walls in the dining area were showing local news & sports. A bald gentleman working on the other side of the counter prep-slicing cold cuts stopped what he was doing and asked if I needed service. I thanked him & explained I had already ordered & was waiting for my meal resting my bum leg.
Not even a few seconds later, a young lady called out my name from the far end of the counter by the register & I made my way back to the cashier, paid a reasonable price in today's market of BIDENOMICS & Bide-inflation of just over $11.50*(that included a 16 oz cup of coffee).
My sandwich was fresh off the grill & the toast was well-done! Just how I like it, Crunchy! The eggs were fried to medium-light. Just enough yolk bleeding out into the sammy without dripping all over the front of your shirt! The pastrami was a bit salty, but not the fault of the deli. Boarshead just happens to be a saltier meat in general.
The cheese was sticking to both bread & egg, which means it was layered while both bread & eggs were still HOT! YUMMMMM!
I am not out in this area often but when I do need to travel here for my monthly doctors appointment, I will definitely be eating here again!!!
G-d Bless!?
Wheelchair accessibility: Although I am not wheelchair bound, I am disabled and walk with a cane.
There is a ramp in front of The restaurant mario's just off to the right of the deli which allows for easier access to get up the curb, which isn't that tall to begin with...
So I would safely say it is manageable by wheelchair. End the door to the deli is Street level...
All in all, a positive experience, even with the dank damp weather.... It is raining today, which causes my bones and joints to ache even more...
But the gourmet deli's Breakfast sandwich did take my mind off the pain for the immediate duration!
THANK YOU & G-D BLESS
