My elderly mother, young daughter and I stayed in room 3. The room is perfect for two people. (My daughter was a last minute addition.) We had a fantastic stay and can't rave enough about how kind, responsive and generous the owners and staff were. The hotel itself is charming -- thoughtfully decorated and cozy. Fantastic from top to bottom! The decor is charming, the service is impeccable, and the food and drinks are top notch. (I still can’t believe the crab cakes on this menu.) Sharon Springs has several establishments that are worth the trip - McGillicuddy’s Naturals, EH Rural Provisions, Austintacious Chocolates. The revamped American Hotel now joins their ranks. Check them out before it becomes impossible to get a table here!
