Very special experience: great food; wonderful chefs, delightful and knowledgeable waitstaff, charming and helpful management; no hype, razzle dazzle, pretense or raucous noise. All charm and great food. One of party had a birthday and the staff helped us celebrate. One in our party could not eat clams and they sweetly and humorously fixed something else. Prix fixe menu was exceptional. Fun wine pairings and tasty cocktails. Worth the cost. New location was roomy, stylish and away from traffic. Best place on the North Fork and Shelter Island BY FAR.

My wife and I loved our experience at 18 Bay. Jimmy, the general manager, greeted us when we first walked in and asked us to choose an open table, which was perfect for us. I chose to pre purchase a special occasion wine pairing which was a little pricey but wanted to impress my wife. She loves to try different wines. Jimmy poured each glass and came over to the table to give us a little history of each bottle. He was very knowledgeable and always offered to give her a different wine if she did not like the one he chose for her. The food was very tasty and satisfying. The service was excellent and the ambiance perfect. Overall the night was terrific.Thank you Jimmy and the 18 Bay Team
