Earl and his family have preserved so much history into this tiny little restaurant. The place is like a living timewarp from the 70's, and the food is even better. The lobster was cooked to perfection and the striped bass was outstanding. This place is off the grid, but don't let that fool you. You can't do any better for seafood on this island. Thank you to Earl and his family for keeping up a family tradition of excellent food and a great, down to earth atmosphere. Special thanks from our kids who you allowed back to see the live lobsters. We will see you every time we are in Shelter Island.
I simply love their dishes. I always get great customer service here. The place is clean and the workers are always super nice. I highly recommend this place.
Great Island spot for fresh seafood
Not much for selection and price is $$$
No Frills ... but you'll love the food and service. The crab legs are incredible. I have em just about everytime I go. Nelson
Went there twice, on our Shelter Island visit. First time was fabulous and outstanding service...no frills restaurant. Second visit not so good. WAY poor service. Apparently depends on wait staff?!?
I had a two pound lobster that was sweet and tasty, though hard to take apart. The French Fries were very good
It's so good and it is always fresh! Mike and Earl are the best!

We got littleneck clams and cooked them in a Portuguese clam stew. They were delicious. It's a well stocked fish market with helpful staff.
OMG the lobsters are amazing. You don't even need to dip them in the butter sauce because they are that sweet already.
Best less expensive fish spot since Two Eds closed.
