this place makes a slice that would impressive anywhere in New York. that they do it on an island where they're the only game in town just makes me like them all the more. also, the staff is awesome and was great to our kid
Awful pizza. Go to Isola
Finally tried Slice, and it was amazing! Been wanting to try this spot for a while and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. True New York slices, big & delicious. The owner Franky is such a nice guy with a passion for pizza. The plain cheese is my go to, but the chicken Ceasar salad slice shouldn’t be missed! Fun speciality slices and a chill atmosphere. I will definitely be back soon. So good, I had to eat a slice on the ferry :)
Perfect pizza the way I like a little well done.
Crew at Slice are super nice and friendly.
Highly recommend the stop here for lunch or dinner.
Every time I’m in shelter island, I make a point to visit this gem of a pizza place, mixed with a severe case of unreasonable hospitality.
The last time I had been here, the charming owner inquired about my children, in which he made sure I took home 3 huge cookies to treat them. Today’s experience was no exception.
After reviewing the menu in detail, the owner personalized 2 homemade cauliflower crust pies for me which hit the spot. In addition, I had mentioned about his special Penne Alla Mimmo, which he then included in my order for free. I think it was the best creamy penne I’ve have had in a long time… reminding me of Don Giovanni’s in Chelsea.
My kids fight over the last garlic knot from this place with a fiery passion & the plain pie always hits the spot. Open till 8:30pm all year round making this not only a favorite for the food & the company, but also the convenience. Go there - you won’t be disappointed.
We drove in 2 hours from Westchester because we heard the cook from Sag Harbor's La conca d'oro (Franco) moved here. He makes the most amazing dish - penne a la mimmo - with mushrooms, sausage, ground beef and pink marsala cream sauce. Omg. That's all I can say....eat with fresh garlic bread and split a house salad (they're giant).

Staple of the island. Idk if they changed their tomato sauce recently, but I just got chicken parm last week and I was LICKING the plate. Don’t ever change.

Huge fan of the SI Slice! I had a couple slices after the Shelter Island Bucks game with a few of the players.
This place does it right and the are proud sponsors of the SI Bucks.
Large & delicious pizza slices you can choose from right at the front window when you walk in and served hot.
The buffalo chicken (not very spicy) was good, the pepperoni (a beautiful NY slice), the chicken bacon ranch (a home run)!
The pasta dishes look amazing! One of the players I was with ordered a dish and it smelled fantastic!
Open seats inside and outside. TVs to watch current events and games as well.
