“I have had a lot of Chinese takeout in my life. I was a broke line cook in Syracuse and Buffalo, takeout was king, but this is leaps and bounds better than anything I've had prior to this. My wife and I love the Scallion Pancakes, Lemon Chicken (serious katsu vibe), Spare Ribs (boneless mostly, but both are great), and most recently easily the best Mapo tofu I have ever had. I've had it at Peach Blossom at Turning Stone, and Taste of China is easily better. Far better distinction of different flavors, no lack os Sichuan peppercorns, and like half the price of the Casino. Try the Mapo, especially during cold season, it may change your life. Mapo Bean Curd, you won't be sorry.”

“The coffee shop is cute and the staff is very friendly. Very accommodating. However, you can tell most baked items are not fresh but refrigerated. The blueberry muffins, which I have retried many times, always taste like a refrigerator cooler. If you are going to serve day old items may I suggest wrapping them tightly to avoid a refrigerator cooler taste.”

“Let’s start with the food… nothing short of AMAZING. We got an array of food, chicken, veal, pasta, shrimp, calamari. The portion sizes are UNREAL. Enough for at least two meals after you eat. Now our waitress Brenda. She is everything a waitress should be and MORE. Unbelievable people skills. She made us feel like family, like we’ve known her forever. “We reached out for a “30” birthday cake and provided inspo pictures. Mallory was quick to respond, reasonably priced, and so sweet when I met her to pick up the cake. The cake turned out exactly how we hoped from the inspo pictures. Everyone at the party raved about how it looked and even more about how it tasted. “Talk about EXCELLENT diner… the restaurant was so clean, warm and inviting. Co-owner Nancy waited on our table and co-owner Patty ( sisters) cooked our delicious breakfast. What a gem in Oriskany Falls!! Omelets were light and wonderful. Pancakes so light and delicious. Coffee was terrific and kept coming! Nancy was so kind, hard working and WELCOMING. Prices were very reasonable! Will definitely be back!!! (I forgot to take a photo of the breakfast menu but attached the lunch menu). Yummy for sure!!!”

“We visited Rome this week and saw they had a wine room and we just had to check it out. I went with two of my daughters and we had such a great time. We tried almost all of the appetizers plus the brisket nachos, and everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and even though it was a screw top instead of a cork, it was still very flavorful.

My daughters tried a little bit of everything. One of the drinks was called the Poison Apple that was so good we were talking about it the whole night. My other daughter had an espresso martini that I personally thought tasted a bit watered down, but she loved it so no complaints there. We tried several other drinks but I don’t know the names.

The ambiance was perfect. They had a DJ playing music that reminded me of my Chicago days, This made the evening even more enjoyable. There is also a fire pit and outdoor seating which looked beautiful, but it was raining so we didn’t get to sit outside this time. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and overall the experience was just wonderful.

10/10. We will definitely stop back in on our next trip!”
