On 6/12 I was visiting from Boston. In search of food, came across this establishment. Me and my friend decided to eat here verses the sub shop next door or the taco spot.
The customer service was A1. The owner happened to be there he gave us the history of the place and the background which it all came. Franca’s is a delightful spot in the heart of downtown Rome, located next to the Capitol Theatre and right in the middle of the area’s growing nightlife scene. The owner, Paul, not only tends bar but also provides entertainment, often sharing his talents as a musician. What a great place! Very intimate atmosphere with a great groove. A family business that kept up the tradition of great Italian food. The owners walk around and talk to the customers, you gotta love it. Check out the food, music and artwork, highly recommended!
