Fantastic! We were on a road trip heading across NY state and wanted to stop somewhere for lunch that wasn't a highway rest stop. Google led us here. We were questioning our choice when we pulled into a small strip mall with very few cars. When we walked inside, the atmosphere was wonderful though, and the food and service was spectacular! East Sushi is a hidden gem located in a small strip mall in Sherrill, NY. Despite its unassuming location, the atmosphere inside is wonderful, and the food and service are spectacular. They offer chopstick helpers and fun kids drinks, like a carbonated strawberry soda. The special rolls are all fantastic, including the unique sweet potato with cream cheese roll. Visitors praise the friendly family running the restaurant and the lovely ambiance. One reviewer, a seasoned sushi eater, claims East Sushi is among the best they've tried worldwide. Highly recommended, especially for the love roll.
