Excellent cake bread and pastries! If you like crumb top more than the cake try one of Alpines Crumb Buns... Insanely good! They should give coupons for Ozembic because you can't just eat one.. serious goodness! Their fruit topped cheesecakes are really good too . All top notch ingredients. We had one in January and couldn't believe how good the winter fruit was.

Have bought cake here before. Usually very fresh however I was having company and bought the maple walnut cake which happens to be a family favorite. The cake was almost 25.00 dollars and was stale. The frosting was okay, but the cake itself was hard, falling apart and tasted terrible. I have had this cake a number of times from Alpine and was very disappointed. 25.00 in the garbage and if you’re thinking why didn’t I bring it back, it’s because I live about 45 minutes away and happened to be passing by. Won’t do that again.

Came here for the bread. A variety of delicious and fresh loafs of bread, rolls and sliced sandwhich bread. My order included cinamon raisin read, onion bread, regular, pumpernickel.

Nothing special about this bakery. Items sold here are pretty basic and I find that the cakes are too sweet and are typical of standard bakeries on Long Island. Nothing here differentiates this bakery from other standard bakeries.

I’ve been getting my cakes here for every special occasion, for the past few years. Find a box that fits the cake or make a cake that fits in the box! I picked up a large sheet cake today and was given a box that could not close..”this is how we normally do it” and to have 6 inches of the box open with the cake exposed is a poor response. Find a new norm. When I said I was not comfortable leaving with the cake like that, I was given the alternative to cut the top of the box off. Why would anyone want to transport a cake with no lid on the box? And yes, I clarified that there would be nothing covering the cake. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Cakes are always delicious but this just makes no sense and something the customer shouldn’t have to worry about.
