Pizza is OUTTASIGHT

Got the family meal deal (takeout) from Carmelita's and was really impressed with the amount of food you get for the price! I also like that you can customize the deal and pick which chicken, pasta and side dish you want. The inside of the place is new and modern. It is also immaculately clean. The staff is so friendly as well! Will definitely be back! They had a lot of options that looked really good in the display cases as well. Another time On Christmas Eve I ordered fried calamari for take out and they were so so nice & able to accommodate a last minute order. The calamari was great too with a spicy marinara! Great service & food.

Sometimes I go there often and their plain slice leaves much to be desired. They are always friendly with me. Some days their pizza is burnt sometimes it's too small or too thick needs quality control. Make sure it doesn't come out burnt or too small or too thick just right. Free refills on drinks and that's very generous. A couple of times they made it way too thick 2 times and couldn't finish it. I don't want that to happen again Pepperoni slice is good. They don't add too much grease or sloppy on slices. I at first thought their pizza was fine their plain slices and i consistent. They do listen to reviews and try to improve. It used to be much more expensive for a specialty slice and lowered the prices since backlash. The garlic knots got better and not too overly garlicky nice and big too. I wish their cinnabun zeppoles came with a dipping sauce but delicious on their own. Wouldn't mind paying for sauce on side for that one. Some improvement I like to see on regular slice greatly.

I decided to try Carmelina's after seeing or several times. The pizza is excellent as is the service. I tried the regular cheese pizza and the Grandma Square which is made with Vodka sauce. Both were excellent. The cheese pizza was dripping with oil and the bottom was cooked to perfectionGive this place a shot. I spoke with the owner who said they've only been there about 5 months and they are trying to get the word out about their excellent pizza. You won't be disappointed!

The food is delicious. The service is fantastic, and the owner is a big supporter of the military, which is always a wonderful thing.

Okay pizza, nothing special. I ordered there a few times. The salad I ordered 3x. First time it was good and fresh when they first opened. Second and third times the lettuce was old and brown and wilted and tomatoes were old too. The salad dressing is very watered down and virtually tasteless. Had a decent amount of chicken we added to the order. Never ordering salad again. Not paying that price for wilted gone by food. If they're serving old salad, it makes me wonder about the care they take with the pizza. Not a fan.

Very nicely designed, plenty of space to eat comfortable without being on top of everyone, clean and super friendly staff. Actually met the owner while there and they all seem like super nice people. As for the pizza, I had a buffalo and regular slice. The buffalo slice was loaded with a very generous portion of high quality chicken, great flavor and just enough hotness. This is only a personal preference but it was a little doughy/undercooked for my personal preference but you can always ask for it to be reheated a little more so no worries there. Overall excellent buffalo slice. I’d give it an “A”. The regular was “different”. Not bad different, just couldn’t put my finger on what spice was added but it was fairly tasty. Crust was extremely thin which I am not a huge fan of unless it’s a brick over pizza but again that more of a preference. Overall a B+ regular slice. In fairness most pizzerias do not know how to make a regular slice anymore and this place serves an absolutely above average regular slice. Lastly, the slices were in normal price range $6 for a specialty slice which is high but fair considering the amount of chicken and quality of the slice. Regular was $3.75. Not cheap but manageable. However, the sodas were unreasonably high in my opinion - $3.25 for a bottle and $3 for a fountain soda. Sorry that’s just too high so it gets a B- for overall value mostly due to the drinks but otherwise excellent spot and I hope they do well. I’ll definitely be back!

Very good pizza but the staff there is extremely accommodating, kind and helpful. My favorite was the pizza that looks like a Sicilian slice but the cheese is underneath the sauce, soooo good. I think it's called the Brooklyn Slice.

The food is very good but it's expensive. Staff is friendly and store looks nice. One hero and a Sicilian pie and a dozen garlic knots at $54 was surprisingly high to me.
