Went this evening for dinner and our server was essentially MIA. Many open tables on a Friday night, and the server was inattentive. Never got offered drink refills or even water.Food was mid. Shrimp flatbread was undercooked,Seabass was chewy, risotto was cold.Unfortunately was so disappointed, our party would not consider coming back.

After sending a steak back twice and still not cooked, instead of taking the steak off the bill, gave us a bottle of wine we do not drink., their own cheap brand. This is the second time we were not satisfied and treated the same way. Will not go there again. 450 dollars later.

I went here last Saturday evening with my husband. We have been here many times before and this time the food was terrible! For an appetizer we shared the clams they were so small they tasted just like bred crumbs. For dinner I had the stuffed shrimp as an entree and it tasted like a bottle of lemon juice was pored all over it. My husband had the braised short ribs. They tasted ok, but once he got home he was so sick the entire night from food poisoning. It was absolutely horrible how sick he was. The restaurant was so loud we could barely have a conversation. Service was so slow. My husband and I paid a lot of money for dinner plus a babysitter for the evening to have such an awful experience. We will never go to this restaurant again!

French onion soup. 3/10. Onions raw and not cooked. Cheese not even melted and soup wasn't hot. Burger. 6/10. Cooked perfectly but abs no taste, flavor or seasoning. Clams oreganata was ice cold. Can't believe how much the food has fallen off at this place and lunch for me and a friend was over 100$. Bar tender was nice. Place was clean are the few positives from a wasteful lunch.

Have been in the past, but recently visited for Valentine's Day. The appetizers were tasty and well sauced/dressed (clams oreganata and Caesar salad), and the entrées were excellent as well, both the short ribs and free-range chicken. Plenty of great speciality drinks as well as wine and beer selection. The ambiance is what I'd describe as formal comfortable with plenty of seating for a large amount of guests. Our only gripe was a 3% supplemental (credit card fee), especially since over 75% of restaurant diners pay with credit cards, and I haven't seen one of these in a while, though small enough to be rather insignificant. Overall, great experience any time we've visited, servers were very pleasant!Vegetarian options: Yes, there are vegetarian options!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options.Parking: Parking behind restaurant and across the street with limited walking.Kid-friendliness: More of an adult dining restaurant, but kid-friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Had a 7:15pn Saturday reservation. Incredible NY Strip steak, Sea Bass and Thai Calamari. Attentive wait staff, the place was packed and the pacing was just right all through out the meal. We didn't wait too long and weren't rushed. NYC prices and worth it.

My first time eating at Chop Shop! It was beautiful inside. And boy was it crowded (for good reason) Our waiter was lovely, our food was delcious! We went out with another couple and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I loved my burger, so did my friend (both were cooked perfectly to our liking) my husband got a steak sandwich and my friends husband got the short rib grilled cheese. The coleslaw was great, and they served seasoned curley fries!!! We all left happy and full and I will definitely go back. The only thing I didn't love was that it was so loud we could barely hear each other, but it was a saturday night and that just means everyone was enjoying themselves so I am fine with it. Overall it was a solid night out and I do recommend Chop Shop!

Please understand that I ordered over $200 of take out food. To my surprise the crab stuffed shrimp had absolutely no crab in it only breadng. Secondly the shrimp were so tough and hard we could not even move the breading off to eat the shrimp either. The other items ordered were just delicious. Please do better on the crab stuffed shrimp or call it just breaded shrimp.

The food has really dropped off. Even the menu is now like a big laminated diner menu. Standards have fallen off. Definitely not worth the price.

We went there for my birthday dinner and had reservations. We only waited a shirt time for our table. It was a busy Friday night. The waiter was attentive and introduced himself. The food was very good and the portion sizes were perfect. We started with the soup and the Thai calamari, both delicious. The main courses were the sea bass and the seared tuna. Then desert and coffee. All in all it was a great meal and would definitely be returning.

My wife and I come here regularly for date night. It’s a great place to go anytime. Steak is great. Appetizers and drinks are nice. We’ve never regretted getting anything on the menu.
