This place has some of the best Italian food on LI. The portions can be big since it’s a family style/sharing restaurant. Take away or dine in, the food is always amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough. My favorite is the chicken parm. The staff is also really friendly and the service was great.

Attended a Baby shower here, first the parking lot is too small, I had to drive around for 10 min to find a spot. Once inside the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff is so wonderful! The food was good, not great, my first bite of baked clams was fishy, the meatballs were dense but good. The bruschetta was fresh and tasty. The lunch was served family style, the Penne Alla Vodka was delicious, Chicken Picatta was ok, the Rigatoni with Broccoli Rabe and Sausage was tasty as well. The biggest disappointment was the Eggplant Parm, tasteless, not what I was expecting from an Italian Restaurant. Overall it was a good experience, I would give it another try knowing what not to order, not sure of the pricing as I was at a party.

So to start, I am 100% Italian and this was my first experience at this restaurant. We were a party of 10 with reservations for 6pm on a Saturday (not too wise) however, they were expecting us. We were seated at a round table where we had no room for our plates, we were sitting so close our arms and hips were touching. Very uncomfortable. The Italian music was great, but the amount of ppl cramped in this small space made it too loud. Then the maitre de came over and convinced us that for just under $70 we can have the menu he quickly sited. It sounded fair. He never implied it was $70 per person. Breakdown in communication or deception? HmmmAfter dinner the dessert and drinks, the bill was over $1,000. I would think that they could've seated us at a table that fit us and not shoved us in.Food vs cost... Not worth it.Parking: Spaces are limited on a SaturdayWheelchair accessibility: Parking handicap is limited.

La Famiglia is my go-to spot for Italian comfort food in Smithtown! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a family dinner or date night. From the classic spaghetti and meatballs to the seafood risotto, every dish is made with love and care.

I had an amazing experience at La Famiglia! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. I especially loved their homemade pasta—I felt like I was dining with my own Italian family.

Wonderful staff, excellent food.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.
We had the Italian salad, it was topped with fried calamari done perfectly and fried artichoke hearts, lots of veggies, chickpeas, and raspberry vinaigrette. The portions were humongous. You get alot of well made food for your dollar. The server was attentive. The Italian egg rolls were as good as he said, filled with ricotta, booccolirabe and sausage. Sauce on the side. We would go back again.Dietary restrictions: They leave out what you tell themParking: There was a big party so there were not many spots but you could find one

It gets super busy and cramped during their peak hours but it is all worth it. Make reservations! Fried Calamari, Italian egg rolls, penne alla vodka with prosciutto, the chicken san Marino. I could go on and on.Wheelchair accessibility: Huge ramp
Went to La Famiglia for a business lunch. The food was excellent and so was the staff. Sam was our waiter and he was very attentive. It was a beautiful atmosphere and not loud and noisy. It was perfect. I would highly recommend.

We had the $59.99 per person special. Party of 10 and the food was amazing. It was a selection of appetizers: antipasto, wings, seafood platter. Then, we had entrees: 3 pasta dishes, pork, fish and poultry. Amazing flavors and the service by our waiter was great!!!
