“My wife and I are long time residents of Somers and last we ordered out from Q’s was about a decade ago. Not so good back then…excellent today. What a difference! Our food including soup was exemplary - tasty, not salty and most importantly, fresh! Many thanks and we surely have a new go to for Chinese food.

“I grew up in the area, but only started coming here recently. I live 25 minutes away but it's the only place I'll buy Cinese food now. The quality is 10/10 and no matter how long its been the woman at the counter is always in a good mood and remembers my order.

Prices are very fair. I think these are the best Chinese BBQ ribs in the area. The wonton soup is also good and can really satisfy a cold. There is a slight black pepper taste to it.

I always get what I expect and am always left feeling satisfied.“

“The food is amazing. When my husband and I drive up to roscoe (we are from long island) we always detour off route to stop here and grab some sweet and sour chicken and beef lo main. It's soo good!! And their egg rolls are also amazing. The owners are so nice the place is a bit crowded with boxes and could use a cleaning and organization but never seen any bugs crawling around. “Ming Hing is the absolute best Chinese food in Mahopac! I have been going here for over 20 years and I have tried just about every Chinese restaurant from Carmel to Somers to Yorktown. Ming Hing is consistently delicious! I can always count on them for great Chinese food and great service, even when they are extremely busy. If you haven’t tried Ming Hing yet, give them a try!

“Favorite food here is shrimp fried rice. It is freshly made. Plenty of shrimp and vegetables. Shrimp and broccoli, general tso chicken, ribs excellent. Egg rolls a little greasy. Staff professional and hardworking. Prices are not bad. Large shrimp fried rice $8.00. This is a regular spot for me. Place looks plain but clean.“

I tried the new buffet and was very happy to see the quality of the food is still excellent! Buffet pricing is very reasonable and I'll definitely be back for more! “Nice local spot offering traditional Chinese menu. We ordered Pork Fried Dumplings, and these were flavorful and crisp, as were the Egg Rolls. Our entrees were the Hunan Special, a spicy dish of jumbo shrimp, crab meat, chicken, pork, black mushrooms, and vegetables, and the Happy Family with similar ingredients minus the spicy kick. Both were prepared well and fresh. We opted to dine in, and the tables were clean and well lit.“

“Just moved to the area recently. Was craving Chinese food was nervous to try a new spot but figured to give it a shot. Called, the guy was very nice whoever answered the phone. Went to pick up the phone and it was done within 15 minutes. Food was hot and fresh. I got a little bit of everything. Didn’t like so much of the beef I got with the broccoli. Tried a piece and tasted little weird. Everything else was delicious. I got egg/shrimp roll, vegetable fried and white rice, beef and broccoli and the sesame chicken was very good. I would recommend ordering from here and eating the food. The prices were reasonable as well. Happy with their service.“

“BEST LO MEIN IN THE WORLD!!! This place is something special. The noodle options & quality are unrivaled. The chef is so incredible & talented! Any other Chinese restaurant leaves me disappointed. I’ve been going here for 15+ years and can’t recommend it enough.

Vegetarian options: I used to order beef lo mein, but have switched to vegetable lo mein/just the noodles. It still tastes absolutely incredible and is so flavorful. Staff is kind and will modify orders for you where possible so that there isn’t meat. I have also eaten here with vegetarian friends.“

“I love Tzen. I ordered from them on a weekly basis. They have a great lunch menu. The fish is always fresh and delicious. I always get the sushi and sashimi lunch combo with a spicy tuna roll instead. And a hot and sour soup, which is very very good. Their wonton soup is also very good and a generous portion. I believe they make their own wonton dumplings for the soup. Their hot food lunch menu is also a great deal and delicious.“
