“Favorite food here is shrimp fried rice. It is freshly made. Plenty of shrimp and vegetables. Shrimp and broccoli, general tso chicken, ribs excellent. Egg rolls a little greasy. Staff professional and hardworking. Prices are not bad. Large shrimp fried rice $8.00. This is a regular spot for me. Place looks plain but clean.“
“Today, my dad and I went to this buffet because I wanted him to experience the best buffet I’ve discovered over 2 decades ago. Before we went, I called the establishment to check with their prices. However, I’m deaf and I had to call using my video phone service which assigns me to an interpreter. Upon calling, someone at King buffet answered the phone then abruptly hanged up. I called a second time, and the person at King Buffet hanged again while my interpreter was trying to explain that I was deaf. We assumed they were mistaking me for spams, so we called a 3rd time and my interpreter had to rudely tell the person over the phone that I’m deaf and that they needed to stop hanging up the phone. That’s when they were convinced that I wasn’t a spammer and so they apologized. This particular buffet serves the best food. I’ve tried several buffets and this one ( King Buffet) is my favorite out of all. They also make the best spare ribs, their shrimps are exceptionally delicious, and everything else is top notch.Unfortunately, the ambient lights on the outside of the restaurant are no longer there. I’m not sure why but they were beautiful when they had them.My father agreed that this was his best experience eating at King Buffet.I highly recommend this place.“
“The food here is absolutely delicious! “Hands down, the best schwarma I’ve had since visiting Isreal. Real fresh ingredients. Not only is the food exquisite, but the portions are also incredibly generous, ensuring you leave fully satisfied!“
“Great spot for lunch or dinner. The server took us in quickly and took our drink order immediately. They served us with condiments for the table which eased our hunger. Then the food order came fast and the food was delicious. Great Chinese food and I highly recommend it. Will be going “
“I enjoyed all the food we ordered! Three different dishes ... sushi which was served toward the end of the dinner .. I think they forgot to make it!! We had chicken chow fun ... shrimp with a cream sauce along side of fried white meat chicken ... another dish with chicken, beef and shrimp in a brown sauce and white rice. The restaurant is very clean and the staff very friendly!! An enjoyable dinner ... we will return!! They had many take out orders also.“
“We were very pleased with the quality of the food. I had a 'blend' which were Eel Sushi Appetizer. Following with Spicy Eggplant Tofu and Sautéed sting beans with beef. Probably the most authentic Chinese entrees that we've had up around this area. It was nice to enjoy the meal in a quiet atmosphere with very attentive service. We plan on revisiting in the future“
“My favorite place for Chinese food. I have been going here since I can remember as a little girl. I moved farther north and this is the only place I will order Chinese food from, I drive 30ish mins to pick up. My favorite rice is shrimp fried rice and vegetable fried. The shrimp egg rolls are delicious, too. I love the shrimp and broccoli and the sesame chicken.“
“Fast easy cheap meal, can’t go wrong with Chinese takeout. Parking is a little tough without a lot. But location is good. There was not a problem ordering the food. The brown sauce was a little light on the flavor. The pepper steak was good, guess when they add the oyster sauce into the brown sauce made it better. The Singapore noodle was very tasty. But the pork fried rice was off. Overall a nice quick meal, $66 for 4 ppl, not bad.“
“I always order from your establishment. The food is delicious. However, tonight I ordered through beyond menu and placed and order to be delivered at 7pm. I called the restaurant around 730pm.. The woman that was there answered the phone and apologized saying” She never saw the order and the food will be made right away. I wound up showing up to pick up the food. The woman at the front counter was the same woman that answered the phone. She was beyond disgusting and rude to another customer. Telling this customer she didn’t pay and her card had to be charged. Then she starts talking to me and I showed her that I paid. She told me “I wasn’t talking to you.” I responded with “There is no reason for you to be nasty!” She responded with “ We are very busy.” Then a tall man proceeded to hand me the food I ordered. She said something me and once again I turned around and responded “Learn to talk to people, there is no reason for you to be nasty!” I walked out with the food.I do not care if there is a line out the door or you are busy. There is no reason for someone to disgustingly nasty and rude!“
“It’s only takeout! But it’s worthy the drive. One of the best Chinese in the area. We tried so far- House special lo mein (small)- Shrimp chop suey (small)- Steamed Dumplings- Beef fried rice (small)- Spring rollDelicious and more than enough for two.“
“Pretty darn good. We have been finding it hard to find really crave-able chinese takeout in the Burbs. We have gone so far as making our own wonton soup with homemade wontons. No more! We ordered wonton soup, crab rangoon, and cashew chicken combo. The wonton soup was D-LICIOUS!! Their wontons have nice, thick wrappers and are filled nicely. I believe they hand make the wrappers, which is a great added bonus to the quality. I'm not a big crab rangoon lover, but my husband is. He raved about them. The dipping sauce was definitely on par. The cashew chicken was good. It lacked the crave-ability I really was looking for, but it was good. Egg roll was great. Pork fried rice was a little lackluster. I highly recommend adding it to your eating spots! I'm excited to try some of the other entrees.“
“I've purchased twice from this place, both times have been absolutely delicious. I've recently moved here at the end of October and I'm glad to have a good Chinese Food restaurant so close to me.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian section on the menu. My wife is a Pescatarian and she orders the Ma Po Tofu.“
“No.1 is our favorite Chinese spot. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about, but we've been getting takeout here for years and they have never disappointed us. We love the half fried chicken over fried rice which seems to be a No. 1 specialty. It's greasy and delicious.“
“Probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. The sesame chicken is amazing, flavorful and crispy. The steamed dumplings are so good you don't even need to use the sauce, although it is also amazing. And the employees are so sweet!“
“I arrive at this special restaurant every couple of days since I like the good mood that is outline this restaurant. The team is exceptionally cordial and qualified. The service is certainly fast. Not to mention, the food they cook is perfect. I have been there often and I was always happy. The payment is fair. I highly suggest this restaurant to to all.“
“Amazing food and super authentic! Ate here on Chinese New Year Eve because we were looking for a Chinese restaurant and we got in pretty late around 9 PM and they were still very happy to serve us. We ordered the “Happy Family” dish on the specials list consisting of chicken, roasted pork, shrimp and scallops served with a bowl of rice on the side and the sauce on the meat was so good! It included quite a bit of vegetables too which was really nice. We also ordered the meat dumplings and I HIGHLY recommend those because they taste so authentic like the dumplings my family makes! Even my boyfriend (who usually does not like Asian food lol) loved these dumplings so much and said he could eat probably 2 plates of them if he were hungrier. There are plenty of vegetarian options on the menu too, such as the stir fry tofu and vegetables, fried rice, noodles, vegetable dumplings and more. We only waited about 10 mins total for the food so it came super quick and we were very satisfied with the service. Will definitely be back here if in the area again!“
“this is a fine takeout Chinese place here in Croton. I've had better Chinese food, but I've had a lot worse too. The orders are right the food is good and consistently quality food. They don't tip you on the count with the meat or the shrimp. And the food is generally ready on time. It's a good all-around American Chinese takeout.“
“I've ordered from China Garden when the family & I are in the mood for Chinese food. The spare ribs, egg foo yung, rices & noodle dishes are tasty & fresh, however I find their food a little on the expensive side & forget it if you want it delivered...too many fees! Overall not bad for a Chinese food fix, just a little pricey!“
“Nice well balanced Chinese restaurantI tried the pu pu platter, chicken in garlic sauce, shrimp fried rice, chicken wings,Lo MeinI was fondly impressed with the quality and good tasting foodThe prices were cheap and I’ll definitely return if I’m ever back in the area“
“It’s always been a struggle to find great chinese food in this area, especially after being spoiled in Manhattan. Super friendly! Very fast! And some of the best Mongolian beef I’ve had in a long time. Whatever hot oil sauce they have on their steamed wontons is addicting. Our new go to spot!“
“This is a wonderful family run Chinese restaurant in an overwhelmingly Italian sea of choices. When you want some great Schezuan or Hunan dishes (which have a little more heat in them) this is the place to go. Healthy portions which can stretch over three meals, try their spring rolls, and the hot and sour soup. And don't forget the extra chili oil!“
“I am not sure what was the bad reviews about but it might be misleading. This is the best Chinese food I had in a few! I felt it as soon as I opened up my take-out bag. I felt it from the packagibg, how it was packed and the food taste quite nice as well. Coming again. I hope they give the business more personal name than it is now though, should atteact more people. :)“
