Great variety of beers! The food was a nice surprise. Probably the best burger I've had in years. Yummy German potato salad, which went great with the dark lager.

We stopped by for lunch and had a great visit. Food was really good and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat. We both enjoyed the Citrus Session IPA. Very refreshing. Can't wait to return

Three words!!! NASHVILLE BLUES BURGER.
Do yourself a favour and get to common roots and try this burger. It is phenomenal.
Spicy and delicious and so much flavour.
I have threatened the staff that if they ever take this off the menu, I’ll protest!
The staff are friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the owners put so much back into their community. It is an all around amazing place with great food and great beer and their new cider is also delicious!

We held my brother's Celebration of Life at the Bierhall on Feb. 2nd. Everything and everyone was amazing. Chad was helpful from the planning to the party. He checked in with us during the Celebration to insure all was well. Many, many thanks from Tim Loso's family and friends. Common Roots was a favorite of my brother!

Nice big open floor plan. Not busy when we went. Service was quick and friendly. The smash burger was said to be very good. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich. Food came out quick. The chicken was bland and dry and stringy. It comes with coleslaw and kettle chips, still didn't add much flavor, and there was more breading than chicken, and the chips were a little over cooked. I ate about 1/4 of it, told the server that I didn't like it. Said he would let someone know, but didn't offer to get me something else or take it off or even a drink.. probably won't go back

This place gets very busy, so service is sometimes a little slow. Most or all of the staff seem friendly tho!

Vegetarian options: Decent black bean burger, but they also offer to deep fry the patty, which was new for me. I recommend trying that!

Kid-friendliness: Every time I've been for lunch on weekends, there have been families with kids. Less often in the evenings, but not unheard of.
