I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered what was supposed to be a simple lunch, and somehow ended up paying almost $40, which is completely unreasonable for what I received.
The way the food was served was frustrating. They packed the tray almost entirely with plain white rice, leaving barely any room for the actual main items. I only got a few small pieces of meat because of that. Then, instead of including sides properly, they asked about soup and salad after closing the tray and served them in separate containers—only to charge everything separately at the register.
To make matters worse, I wasn’t given a receipt, which is unacceptable. I will be disputing the transaction with my bank.
On top of that, the staff was not friendly or welcoming at all.
Overall, this felt like a rip-off. I do not recommend this place—stay away.

Hands down my fav latino restaurant in South Ozone.
The staff is friendly, the fools feels fresh, they are willing to give you the spices you want (as lemon) so it can fit your taste (as in the picture where I got fried tilapia)
In picture (left)
Fried Fish ($3 per piece) chicken, rice and beans (really good beans) with white rice and lemonade.
Please keep it going I will keep coming back!

Not the nicest staff, makes me not want to ask a question. Something about being nice makes the food taste better.

Terrible service, the food tastes good but the customer service is terrible, the prices are too high for what they offer and the delivery takes up to two hours to deliver the food and it arrives cold. Just because the food tastes good doesn't mean they want to take advantage of people.

Everything is incredibly expensive. Any simple dish costs between $20 and $30; it's too much, and sometimes the food isn't very good. I like the restaurant. I've been ordering here for a while, but I can't stand the prices anymore. I've been to other Dominican restaurants, and they're not as expensive as here. They're way over the top with the prices. I don't recommend it.
