Darbar's Chicken and Ribs

Salam,

Ordered a large beef lo mein for my kids.On the second day it went bad. Quality has decreased significantly. Will not be purchasing again.

The food is Good, but they should have a better service to Table.

Make sure you check your chicken! RAW SLIMY AND PINK I called right after, they claimed they were gonna refund me I waited over a month and nothing so therefore im posting it.

I went here during lunch and placed a large order. The cashier was so patient even though I didn't know what I wanted. All the orders were double/triple checked prior to giving them to me and the fried rice was soooooo good. I will definitely be going back. My co worker didn't like her lo mein;/ the chicken wasn't bad . The lamb burger was homemade and it tasted good. It got a little messy once the burger was cut in half but it got the job done. For affordable eats, I recommend .

Very poor customer service. I placed a priority pickup order, and after an hour, they told the Uber pickup driver that they were out of one of the items, so they simply did not make it.

Instead of handling the issue professionally, they started bargaining over a $2 price difference between the missing item and the alternative they offered. This was a large order, and the way they handled such a small difference was frustrating and unprofessional.

Edit: changed review from one star 5 star. Just don’t want to be a reason for closing out a local restaurant

Just went and spent mad money on dry ass chicken and they wouldn’t even let me use the bathroom to pee I will be disputing the transaction with my bank since there are no refunds I’m getting my money no matter what by any means

Really enjoyed the fried rice with fried chicken. Great value. Smash burger was also pretty good
Had to squeeze out the oil from the chicken but otherwise tasty.
Really appreciated that there was no music playing and the staff was listening to Quran in the back

I worked in many food services. Oil-soaked food is served here, and the taste of the food is definitely lacking due to improper cleaning of their cooking equipment. They need to start cleaning those grills and fried rice pans better. The meats in the rice plates are not flavorful; the meat tastes burnt and stinky.

Definitely not what it was. I wont go back. The wait is extremely horrible. Service is as bad. And the food has absolutely no taste. For the price they charge, they can and should do better. I use to love going new York to get this fried rice and chicken. Not anymore.

I've been eating here for many years and my favorite is the fried rice and the fried chicken. The chicken is crispy and not TOO oily. They also have good burgers, my favorite is the lamb burger. Prices for a large fried rice with 6 pieces of chicken you cant get a better deal elsewhere. 5 stars

Pretty good local spot. Highly recommend their halal platters, fried chicken, sandwiches and fried rice are always on point. However I do NOT recommend their BBQ chicken or Jerk chicken. It lacks flavor and doesn’t even taste BBQ and same for their jerk chicken. I was very disappointed in those two items. Samosas are a hit or miss. When it’s good it’s great but when it’s bad it’s almost inedible from the amount of oil that’s on the inside.

The first time we bought food there it was good ,then today we buy back and its the worst ever we had, it does not even any taste the cheapest veg carrots and cabbage, they put inside the fried rice the rice is half cooked ,the chicken is as bad as the rice feathers is on the wings and its expensive 1 chicken fried rice cost is for $20 tasteless as ever can say I don't even recommend anyone about their food

Meow Meow!!!

My name is Mickey and I'm a world travelling black cat from Australia. This is the 2nd time I've been to Darbars and the ribs here are our of this world. I appreciated the litterbox these guys provided under my table and the wait staff were great. Any cat that is visiting New York as a tourist or any cat from the local area has to try this place at least once in their life!!
