The food is average. Nothing special that stands out. You would have to wait a while for the food. Do not expect warm food because it takes long to come. The take takes long to clear after someone would have finish eating. The place is most definitely a Caribbean flavour. It is good to experience it your self.

Vegetarian options: Limited

Parking: You have to drive around the block until you get a parking spot.

Kid-friendliness: It is ok to take kids to eat...

Visiting from Australia ( the only Guyanese living downunder..hahaha), I have been watching Hibiscus Restaurant and Sybil's Bakery on Utube, promising myself a treat whenever I visited NYC. Well, my wife and I were taken and treated to lunch by dear family friends. Food is good but over priced. A can of soda is 3.50 so that should let you know what to expect. I would not recommend dining in because takeout gets all the attention from the staff. Was a regular dining in an even with a familiar face I still had to wait 15 minutes to be greeted at a table on slow days.
