Ate there with my entire family. Started with fresh avocado dip and chips, then had 6 dinners on the menu all different. Everyone DELICIOUS !!. Atmosphere was busy but not real noisy We could eat and chat without shouting. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They would look from a distance and see if we needed anything. A great taste I had the steak and it was fabulous. Easy to get to and we all had a great time !!

Came into the restaurant expecting bland and overpriced Mexican food but was pleasantly surprised to find my dishes full of flavor and spice. Very good food and very tasty margaritas.

Wonderful spot to get some favorites some exceptionally well. My favorite was the elote - so savory and with the perfect chewy, not-watery bite ✨

A decidedly mixed bag. Some of the food was very, very good. But the sea bass sarandeado (sic) was a bland imitation of Contramar’s famous red and green fish. A few other gripes. They have dozens of different tequilas and mezcals. But only 3 rums (the insipid Bacardi, the sickly sweet Captain Morgan, and blah Santa Teresa). Mexico makes phenomenal rum, but nowhere to be found. And it took 40 minutes to get our check and leave. Also, ear-splitting loud.

Beautiful eatery at the end of Jobs Lane with views of Agwam Park, Monument Square, and the old art deco garage. Food is fantastic and a bit expensive. It can get very busy, so reservations are recommended.

My wife and I went to lunch today. I didn’t mind the price, however the food came after we ordered and the portions were very ridiculously small. For example, the QUESADILLA DE VERANO was half the size of a slice of pizza costing $22. Additionally, for lunch, the Burrito El Verano cost $23 and $7 for some shredded chicken. This is nickel and dime restaurant.
The Pepito $35 sandwich’s steak had lots of fat of each piece.
And the 3 little churros with ice cream in a small soup cup cost $20.
Disappointing lunch experience and a costly ($144 plus 20% tip) lunch with no alcoholic drinks.
The ambiance: the restaurant was wide open getting exhaust smell from the crowded barrage of cars passing by.
Never again

Total rip off. $58 for a tiny piece of sea bass. If it was good that might be okay but it was poorly prepared, and the size of an appetizer. Not tasty. Waiter was unknowledgeable, didn't know what they had at bar or how dishes were prepared. Rushed service and upselled extra dishes so we were in a defensive posture the whole time. Stay clear. 75 Main munch better.

Excellent high end Mexican in the town of Southampton. Dropped in and was able to get a seat at the bar where we were greeted by friendly staff. Margarita selection was good and the pistachio infused Mezcal had some good flavor. We had oysters, ceviche and carne asada. For carne asada we did not think it was necessary to upgrade the beef and it came out awesome (cut against the grain!). Very happy with our impromptu visit

This is a whirlwind review to write. I visited this restaurant with my wife, my brother-in-law and her cousin, all of whom are Colombian born and raised (just for reference since this is a "Latino" cuisine restaurant). We also frequent most of the best restaurants in Manhattan and across NYC since we live in Midtown, so I like to think we know good food.

My wife ordered the Carne Asada dish (with NY Strip Steak cooked MEDIUM). I emphasize the temperature because it came out absolutely dry and brown. The steak was completely overcooked and lacked any flavor at all. They agreed to bring out another. The second came out RAW. It was not cooked at all - it was overcooked on the outside and red and raw / chewy on the inside. This blew me away. I have a certain level of expectation for a restaurant in the Hamptons. Finally we gave up and ordered the Skirt Steak option ( due to the fact that this seemed to be the best options based on the below).

My brother-in-law and my wife's cousin each ordered the Carne Asada (skirt steak). This dish is pulling this review up heavily. The skirt steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. It came with a side of some mixed veggie and potatoes, also which were good. Once this THIRD attempt came out for my wife she absolutely loved it. I would say this dish is worth visiting the restaurant for, however I am skeptical of any other dishes. I ordered a chicken dish also which lacked any flavor, was dry and I would never order again.

The staff was great, I have no complaints about them. They tried to save the whole meal by gifting us free desserts which was appreciated, but I can't allow it to impact my review. The desserts were incredible to be honest. A tres leches style cake that was incredible and we all enjoyed and a churro / ice cream combo dish which was equally delicious.

I'm not sure if I'd come back, messing up a steak 2 times in a row was really surprising to me, but if I really have a craving for a skirt steak I might pop back over. I'll update the review if we do go back and order other dishes, but I would avoid ordering the NY Strip steak if you're going over there.

Came for lunch. Chicken quesadilla was tiny and $30. Not a meal. Tuna Taquitos were also tiny and $28. If these are appetizers they should be labeled as such on the menu.

The food is absolutely outstanding and I’m very particular about Mexican food. I can tell you this is the best guac I’ve ever had, but everything on the menu including the cocktails are phenomenal!

We celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary last evening by going to El Verano. My wife made the right choice. It was fun and hospitable. Mr. Palafox, the GM, and Christian, the manager, took good care of us. We’re grateful. Best dish:
Quesadilla de Trufa: Local corn, Mexican cheeses, huitlacoche, crema, summer black truffles.

Vegetarian options: Chile Relleno is a great dish.

Dietary restrictions: The chef will make whatever changes you need.

Parking: Easy.

Kid-friendliness: Adorable children: attentive parents.

Wheelchair accessibility: Totally accessible.

Recommended dishes: Enchiladas, Churros Sundae, Guacamole
