Cute winery, service is hit or miss. Wine is fine, the turnoff for me was the pricing. Especially the food menu. I found it to be overpriced for what it is.

What a great little find in Peconic. A beautiful, quaint winery. They have small snacks and tons of Rose'. We had the still Jolie Rose'. Delicious! The staff is ready and waiting to help. Beautiful grounds. Quiet little spaces to get lost. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!

Lovely and cozy almost like a French winery. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Check out the Sparkling Rose - Cuvee

A lovely place to sit and have a glass of wine, some snacks, and of course macarons. Beautiful setting! Much nicer than other steel-shed tasting rooms.

Not a joyful experience but great rose!I am giving this review three stars because although the wine was wonderful, it seemed very clear from the beginning that they wanted us to drink and leave. Wine tasting should be a joyful experience in a beautiful setting, shared with friends. The setting was lovely, and the wine was good, but the experience was less than ideal. In their defense, it was a very rainy day. On a weekend. And they were full. When we arrived, the host said the only place left to sit was in the main reception barn-like area (this is the area with clothing for sale etc). They had lots of little tables there and it was perfect for us actually, So we said that absolutely we would love to sit there, but the host seemed disappointed that we chose to stay. We ordered our flights and we were enjoying ourselves and it started really pouring down rain. Wrath of God rain. So, as always, when that happens with any venue where folks are sitting outside, they had to relocate outside tables; there was a lot of commotion, a lot of shuffling, and this was to be expected. The person who was serving us came in dripping wet. We were commenting on how nice her jacket was, because it was a perfect rain jacket for the venue. She seemed a bit aggravated, and I’m sure she was a little flustered trying to find seats for everyone who was sitting outside. She asked if we were done, and we told her that we were still sampling our flights and talking. She sighed and left, so we changed our mind and we did not linger. Often we would linger, but we drank fairly quickly because we felt unwelcome and rushed. As we were sitting there, at least four other couples were waiting for our table. They were sort of hovering around, there was nowhere really else to wait, because of the rain. So it was odd. Imagine sitting in a restaurant and somebody standing right behind, with their arms and legs brushing you while you finish up.We love their wines, and as we were finishing up, we decided to purchase some bottles, and we asked about purchasing them (because sometimes they will bring them to you or you add to your bill at the table) and the same host was pretty dismissive, and said "yes, you just order them someplace else, are you done?" And it became clear that we were really being rushed out. I was also looking to buy a dress that was there and wanted to try it on, but again, it was hard to even turn around at the place, much less try on a dress. It’s a shame, because the vineyard is gorgeous and I know that it’s tricky for them when it rains because they don’t have a lot of space, but they were really quite grumpy. So the wine is five stars, and the setting and bathroom are 5 stars (hint: one of the stalls has a French video playing). However, the service is only three. I really love the bathroom and the setting, and the wine itself, but we were really made to feel unwelcome. It’s not like we were being loud or picking our noses or anything. We are a respectable group of 50-something-year-olds, and I lived in San Francisco for many years and pretty much spent all of my weekends in the wine country. This is certainly not our first winery experience. We know how to behave ourselves. And we weren’t lingering by any means. The couple next to us was still sitting at their table and they were there when we arrived and there when we left. The server/host did not ask if we had any questions about the wines or which ones we were enjoying. When we ordered, she told us since we had two flights that we needed to move our stuff off of the table to make room. That was it. Then she just dropped everything and ran off. We will give them a second chance when we visit next year as the vineyard is gorgeous and perhaps she was having an off-day

The cutest (rosé only) spot. Wine is yummy but you're really there for the vibes. The building/property are gorgeous. I've only had the French fries but the other food seemed good too. Dog friendly and they have a cute little store full of merch and wine, of course. Lovee this place!

I love this place a lot! Only downfall is that it gets packed but hey that's good for their business. Ambiance is a 5/5 because no matter where you sit its a good vibe. Service is 5/5 as everyone working is always very nice even when its hectic Food (3/5) the fries were good but wasn't sold on the lobster roll mini I do wish they had sparkling wine for the magnum bottles.

Went there yesterday with my husband. I chose it. Overall, Was not happy with the place.Positive things: Looks like a country site spot, cozy, with a lot of flowers and garden chairs.Negative: it was hot day. Small umbrellas do not cover you completely from the sun light. No good snack is offered (we were hungry, hot weather, testing wine - I became drunk right away and did not enjoy the testing at all. It should be in traditional big wineries with A/C and cool temperature inside.

My favorite vineyard on the North Fork. I will admit I have not been to them all but I have been to my fair share and this one just slaps that hard. Croteaux is one of the North Fork vineyards that specializes primarily in rosé. They don't take reservations and its first come first serve. The grounds are gorgeous. The wine is delicious. The food they have is very good as well. Your really can't go wrong You can do a flight or sparkling or still rosé. The still flight comes with 6 tastings while the sparkling comes with 3. We also go the lobster roll sliders, bread with a herb spread and the tomato confit. Lobster sliders are amazing and should not be overlooked when coming here. Be sure to buy a bottle of wine or hit up their gift shop which had super cute stuff including these quilted jackets which apparently are so hot right now.

Croteaux is my new must visit in the North Fork! This vineyard is so charming. They really nailed the aesthetics and it feels luxurious to be there. We went on one of the most beautiful days of the year - the weather was perfection, which only made the ambiance that much more gorgeous. We sat outside under an umbrella in cafe chairs on the lawn. I ordered a sparkling flight for $26, and we shared the lobster sliders, herbed cheese, and tomato confit. It was a great spread, but next time I would skip the confit. The sparkling wines were delicious and I really enjoyed all 3. Honestly, I could have sat outside for another hour and enjoyed a second flight. I'll definitely be bringing friends and family here in the future. Make sure to check out their shop on your way out!

Beautiful setting for a light lunch. We all had the lobster rolls and rosè (of course). Staff were very friendly and attentive.
