Very good

We love coming here on our way in to North Fork. We enjoyed a Small Cheese Board and some Sparkling Wine varieties.

Sparkling Pointe Vineyards was the perfect stop on our way to the Orient Point Ferry—so posh and effortlessly chic! The bright white swankiness paired perfectly with their fun Brazilian Carnivale theme, making the whole experience feel like a luxurious escape. We did a flight tasting, and every sip was delicious. Our waitress, Kristina, was fantastic—so knowledgeable and friendly. An absolute must-visit for sparkling wine lovers!

We were a group of six.

Michelle was our hostess. She immediately judged our Latino family as ignorant and felt we needed an education on French geography, and wine making.

She seemed to feel their product in Long Island met some kind of standard other than passable.

She assumed my brother-in-law was my son, as she admonished him for what she believed to be ignorant of sweet vs dry wine. Assuming his ethnicity and strong Brooklyn accent required him to be naive.

The racist insults concluded with 3 bottles of the only-good-enough-for-Sunday-mimosas dry sparkling, not Champagne, being purchased, honestly undrinkable without OJ; being packed up for brunch next weekend. Did not want anyone(Michelle)to assume they owned an ounce of exclusivity.

It was shameful. Our family lives through Long Island and greater NYC for 50+ years, we have never experienced such a vile and foolish environment.

PS We ended up tossing 2 bottles, as it was even more undrinkable at home.

Adore this place. The vibe is modern and classy and they have the best sparkling wine! They do a chocolate pairing, and I HIGHLY recommend that. Love this place, and will return. They are NOT dog-friendly: that is our only downside, as we love our pup, and would gladly sit outside on the patio with her.

Sparkling pointe is a great place for celebration! Today is my mom’s 78th birthday. She is a long time wine club member and we came to sparkling pointe to celebrate her. We had a very pleasant dining experience but the service from our waitress was negatively noteworthy. Michelle was insulting to my family from the very beginning. She began by displaying complete disregard for my 17 and 19 year old daughters. When she walked to the table (Our party of 7) she said “so which 5 people will be enjoying themselves today,” implying that my 2 daughters would not be enjoying themselves because they weren’t of age to drink wine. Not only did this make them feel out of place, but she also suggested that without alcohol, you cannot enjoy yourself. Next, she did not even care to give my daughters a menu. So when looking for food or nonalcoholic beverages, they had to use a menu given to one of the adults. This action was very excluding to my girls and neglectful. Furthermore I would like to note the constant attitude and abundance of eye rolls displayed by Michelle. My daughter was the one who ordered the food for the table, which clearly annoyed Michelle. But why?
Lastly, she presented our table with the check. Because my mom is a member of the wine club, she got 4 free flights for the table. Michelle was sure to highlight the subtotal, which was the amount prior to taking off the free flights. Implying we should tip on the subtotal amount, which we had planned on doing anyway. Michelle must’ve unfairly assumed and stereotyped my family and our tipping culture. This completely rubbed me the wrong way, and although I was planning on leaving a $50 tip for the holidays, I chose to leave $40 because I felt that’s what was deserved after her performance. I hate to leave a review like this as I do enjoy this company! But, I would like to see improvement in Michelle’s approach to serving her customers.

I feel it’s necessary to share the incredibly disappointing experience my friends and I had at Sparkling Pointe on 9/7/24 around 4pm. What started as a relaxing visit to buy a case of champagne turned into an unpleasant and frustrating encounter with the manager, Evan Ducz.
Despite the fact that it was a rainy day and the winery wasn’t crowded, Mr. Ducz refused to seat our party of three because one of us had a small service dog. He claimed that service dogs weren’t allowed due to the winery being a “processing facility.” This explanation made no sense, especially since the ADA allows service animals in public spaces, including businesses like wineries.
When we tried to explain this and even offered documentation for the service dog, Mr. Ducz’s response was shockingly rude and dismissive. Instead of listening, he questioned us condescendingly about what services the dog provided, and despite our compliance, he made it clear that he was in charge and would not seat us. When we asked for his name or a business card, he refused and told us to step aside, further dismissing our concerns while helping other customers. It wasn’t until we insisted that he reluctantly gave us his name.
To make matters worse, as we were leaving, Mr. Ducz followed us OUT the door, continuing to harass us and attempting to justify his behavior, which only made the situation more upsetting. His treatment of us was nothing short of humiliating and completely unprofessional.
As someone who has visited wineries on the North Fork for many years, I was shocked by this level of disrespect. I’ve never experienced anything like this, especially from a manager. I hope the owners of Sparkling Pointe address this issue immediately because Mr. Ducz is not only damaging their reputation but also violating ADA laws.
This was a terrible experience, and I will be supporting my friend in filing complaints with the ADA and BBB and in seeking legal advice.

Amazing experience! The wines were very tasty, the wine guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the setting was absolutely gorgeous! We also loved that there was the option to buy snacks as well.

The best part was that it wasn’t very busy, so it felt like a very personalized experience.

It was so nice to sit out on the patio on a gorgeous day with our wine and cheese platter overlooking the vineyard.

We would definitely go here again! Absolutely recommend it for anyone who is looking for a place to spend the afternoon vs. just another stop on the wine tour.
