We got octopus salad , a total disgrace for the amount of octopus inside the salad, chicken Cesar salad nothing to talk about, portion sizes very small , we got a lot of other food but no body was satisfied leaving the restaurant we ate the bread just to fill us up .Also for $20 a cocktail they need to use Quality ingredients not sugary syrup . Only really good thing about this restaurant is location..

The hostess Meredith was easily the hardest working most friendly hostess we have had at a restaurant.

The lobster ravioli was amazing - and the shrimp pasta was incredible, as the flavor of the peppercorn in the sauce was brilliant.

A beautiful spot with great ambiance. Very well prepared food - tasty and inviting presentation. Although busy, the staff is attentive and moves. Ample parking.

The food and service were fantastic until the manager started bothering us and ruined our experience. The waitress was so wonderful! Manager was so rude! Will not be back unless they get a new manager!

Lobster roll was small, lobster was all claw meat. The roll was terrible. Lobster roll came with a small amount of fries. The price was very high. Will not go back.

Wayside is Excellent, food is always outstanding as well as the drink menu. I highly suggest you try the watermelon tahini margarita. Nothing beats fresh muddled fruit in a cocktail. Bartender is excellent.Atmosphere is so nice with one of the best views on the north fork.live music and outdoor fire pits adds to the ambience.Chris the manager is extremely personable and so pleasant to speak to.

A wonderful dinner by the water at Waypoint Restaurant.

After cocktails, we started with tuna crudo, a roast artichoke salad, and a grilled octopus salad, followed by the catch of the day, striped bass. For dessert, almond tiramisu and a pistachio cake.

Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was outstanding.

Love this restaurant. Met the manager Chris on Saturday. Very personable. Yes the pricing is high but so many restaurants are high. The only thing was my husbands Bloody Mary. Far too much horseradish in it. He couldn’t even sip it through the straw. The waiter took it and drained it of all the spices but it was not good. We should have said something.
