Both food and service were outstanding. Noise level was intolerable. Also, on another Age-Friendly issue, the table lamps were not bright enough to allow several of our guests to read the menu.
Great value for the 3 course menu. I had the scallops, pork chop, and pistachio cake-- all were delicious. Our table split the potato gnocchi with truffles as an additional course; we all enjoyed it! This place is a gem in the forest!
My husband and I chose to celebrate our anniversary at Mountain House. It was our first visit since it reopened. We weren't disappointed! The food was delicious (all three courses), the wait staff was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the ambiance offered a perfect mix of warmth and elegance. The chef even sent out a special extra dessert to mark our anniversary. We'll definitely return!
