I’m from Florida and visit New York often, and finding good Jamaican food up here has usually been disappointing. But I’m so glad I found this spot! This is definitely my new go-to Jamaican restaurant in NY. Highly recommend!
OG’s Jamaican Restaurant is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, authentic, and cooked to perfection. I had the oxtail with rice and peas, and it was fall-off-the-bone tender with just the right amount of seasoning. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the vibe inside made me feel like I was right back in the islands. Definitely my new go-to spot for Jamaican food. Highly recommend!
We ordered ackee and saltfish with provisions and hominy corn porridge. The foods were marvelously prepared. It was as if everything was picked fresh and expertly cooked to perfection. God's blessings on OG's that they maintain excellent service, so our communities health benifits.....
